That is so fucking lame. Its an Epic Games Store Exclusive, fucking lol
This doesn't really sound like my cup of tea. When I think "John Wick game" I think of something like Hotline Miami, or any given fast-paced shooter. Hell, if a JW game came out that took inspiration from third person shooters but instead of a vanilla cover system they sped up or made more fluent the movement and fleshed out a hand to hand system that would probably be "perfect" in terms of adaptation.
So basically like that Jason Bourne game
fixed it for yaIts a pirate bay Exclusive, fucking lol
I think John Wick would work best like a Batman: Arkham game, combine gunplay with close combat.
john wick would work better as a hotline miami type game, but i guess a strategy game style is fun too i guess.
I disagree. I think John Wick would've worked better if it was like Devil May Cry, but with some mechanics from Max Payne. A fast action movie deserves a fast action game.I think John Wick would work best like a Batman: Arkham game, combine gunplay with close combat. Like beating someone to the ground and putting two in the head, or moves with a knife. A very fast-paced sort of game with not a lot of distance between you and the enemies. Maybe a third-person shooter where you have two modes: Long range gun battles and close combat with weapons. You can choose to engage at range when there's a lot, then move in and beat them down. So it'd really be quick. I don't know about cover mechanics, since Wick isn't about long range shoot-outs.
Maybe have not a health bar, but an 'adrenaline system' or 'willpower system', where you get progressively more fucked up, but you heal through kills and doing combos and executions. The better and more complex, the larger the heal. So if you're in a desperation mode and you murk enemies in cool ways, you go back to full. It'd be cool if wounds stayed, though. So if your leg is fucked up, you can't move as fast, but it doesn't have an overall affect on your 'health'. Or if you take too much damage to your arms, you can only use pistols and close combat weapons. Sort of like die-hard. Wick just moves through his injuries through sheer force of will. I think that's a neat concept.
