Johnny Test Fandom and Hatedom Discussion Thread

The first review in the OP starts "This show suuuuuuuuucks." Literally, he dragged it out like that. Then it goes on like that for three minutes I'll never get back out of my life. There's a part where he's like "Do you know what sucks the most about how much Johnny Test sucks? The part where it SUCKS!"

I've never seen this show. Looks kind of shitty. But these reviewers are even more shitty.

Actually, I just watched the one, but I think it's safe to assume all the others are just as bad.

So. . .anything actually funny about these tards?

Let's be honest... not at the moment.

Back in the day, they were incredibly spergy, but now the Teen Titans Go hatedom has overtaken them in sperginess and lolcowishness. Especially since the show is over now.

I always thought the hatedom for this show was just kind of a tongue in cheek meme, never realized how many spergs take it dead seriously (though in retrospect I shoulve known).

Yeah, the show sucks, but its far from the only crappy kids cartoon out there. That and, y'know, if you hate it, why think about it so much?

I do wonder how old these spergs tend to be, though. Actual kids have silly hatedoms and stuff a lot, but knowing dA these people are probably in their 20's at least :(

Did Johnny Test rip these things off actually? Or are these just a bunch of losers who think that because, SIMPSONS DID IT! then it's a ripoff? It seems to me like they'd sperg about Johnny Test having an episode about roller coasters and a cooties joke since spongebob did both of those or some dumb shit.

Johnny Test's basic premise is basically a genderbent Dexter's Lab with very few changes. That's one of the very few things these spergs have any right to be even remotely miffed about. (I'm genuinely surprised the Dexter's Lab creator hasn't sued by now)

The latter. And some of these people tend to be members of TV Tropes, so you'd think they'd know what clichés are.

Why is bomberman there?

It's not like Johnny Test is some inescapable thing, though. All you have to do is change the channel. I could maybe get all the hate if Johnny Test stuff was plastered up all over the place (I can kinda understand why some people are irritated with all the Minion merchandising), but JT doesn't have that.

Were those made by the same guy that thinks those shitty phones of his are better than other cartoons even though he never works on them and has to trace over episodes to make his garbage come to life? Because the head and subject matter gives me that impression.

And yes, I don't get the idea of watching a show and screaming that it sucks. Sure, I can buy watching a couple episodes to give yourself a decent opinion of it, but hot damn, when you watch a show more religiously than the fans, that makes you at least an order of magnitude dumber. Doubly so since I checked CN during a slow day of TV; it ain't on there no more. So they're bitching about a show whose time has passed to boot.

As I said, nobody's really bitching about it anymore.

i seen parts of the show, it's nothing to write home about. However, with production ended and no new episodes churning out, my guess is that the rabid haters will either stop hating and accept that it's gone, or continue to beat the dead horse.

Honestly, the show is mediocre from what I remember of it, but the target audience is aimed at 6-11 year olds, not surprising this wasn't the most memorable of cartoons. I decided to do a little digging on the development studio for this show. Looking at Atomic Cartoon's lineup, you can't expect anything mature from them and the only thing adult orientated they made was "The Chosen One."

Shows like Johnny test is par the course for the development studio. The only reason this show stood out is because of how close it is to Dexter's Lab that it triggered it sperg rage. This was the same studio that produced "Atomic Betty" and "Captain Flamingo," they don't care about appealing to a teenage/adult audience. As long as the kiddies are watching they will keep doing what they are doing.

Shitty memes
