Careercow Jonathan "Full" McIntosh / RadicalBytes - "Pop Culture Detective", Cucked hard by Anita Sarkeesian, King Snowflake

This thread hasn't moved in a while, but people like Mcintosh, Regenade cut, Lindsay Ellis, some other dude I can't remember are the reason I why I have a distaste in film essays. It boils down to you know that film you liked, it was secretly programming you to become a nazi, or sexist, transphobic. When that was never the intention.

Notice as well that it also works the other way - that the reason that you hated a movie wasn't because it was bad on its own merits (or lack thereof in this case), it was because you were programmed to be a nazi, sexist, or transphobe by other, better movies.

Member the comic Dobson made about people who criticized the Last Jedi, I member.

wouldn't it be funny if Jonathan McIntosh got raped by, like, 5 women?

"Complicated topic that requires a fair bit of Nuance." Nuance my ass, Johnathan McIntosh called Panchito from the Three Caballeros a Racist sterotype, without even watching the movie. @Gallofag

Will his nuance be while sexual assault against men shouldn't be trivalized, it's so rare and women are ultimatley the victims of the patriarchy, so assault against them should be taken more seriously.

Like, I can't

Oh my god tell me about it! Panchito Pistoles was meant to be a positive representation of mexicans, a charro proud of his culture, and willing to share some aspects of it with his friends, voice by an Mexican american actor, he was made in response to the success of Saludos amigos, when more Latin american countries wanted to be represented. Of course being the gringo he is Mcintosh bitches about fictional Mexican characters being proud of there own culture and speaking some spanish for being too stereotypical.

If you want to know what I'm talking about here's this almost ten year old video when Mcintosh was less insanse and more understanding where he makes a video making fun of Glen beck and his conspiracy theories.
There was an annotated version, where he outright calls Panchito and Offensive negative stereotype but the link i found for it is broken so you will have to watch the youtube video, which is actually somewhat funny and entertaining.

Where's the negative? How is it even remotely negative? That cock is based.

Just need one morbidly obese chick to ride him until he suffocates.

Also, Rick and Morty doesn't trivialise rape, it always treats it seriously. Yes, there are rape jokes made, but any time an actual sexual assault is presented in the show it's always shown to be horrible, not funny. It's one of the lines they refuse to cross.

He learned well from Anita.

I remember this from way back when. How odd to know that he was behind this.

The funny thing is, this is one of the few videos he made with that editing shit that actually works because here, he manages to create a coherent narrative.

The Virgin Mcintosh vs the Chad Panchito, I woke up super early so I quickly made this excuse the autism.

I thought of doing it in ms paint but drawing it on paper is just more satisfying. I hope you enjoy this @Gallofag.
I'm flattered, to see the Rooster get some love. Panchito is the kind of man McIntosh doesn't like, patriotic, loud, a little overbearing, gun toying, wild, latino character who isn't a victim and has a lot of agency. Things he despises in men, "Toxic Masculinity."
Even if he's a stereotype, he's not a negative or offensive. No worse than having an american character in an anime who's a cowboy. It's always white people who hate these Mexican characters that have pride in their culture.

Really makes you think.

No surprise, but Mcintosh is salty about the Joker, he retweeted this.

and this on his main account,

These are barely satire at this point.

Why is everyone joining this joker hate bandwagon, are they that salty over a fictional character?
Sunk cost fallacy. The IngSoc media went all in on it being problematic and dangerous, and it becoming both massively successful and critically acclaimed (while causing nothing bad to happen) is a huge slap in the face and another stake in the heart of their fading relevancy. Instead of growing up and moving the fuck on, they and their supporters have decided to take the tried and true elitist tactic of self fellating about how their opinion may be unpopular, but are morally right, and the public is full of bad dumb dumbs.
