I don't even see what he's adding to the mix, anyway. Lots of people know that Steven Universe defies roles about gender and masculinity, and it's not like it's the only cartoon to do so. I won't be surprised if he ignores the toxic fandom that's formed around the show, ie "EVEN THOUGH THE CREATOR SAYS THEY ARE SPACE ROCKS WITH NO RACE OR GENDER, I WILL SCREAM ABOUT HOW GARNET IS BLACK AND ALL THE GEMS ARE TRANSWOMEN AND IF YOU DISAGREE I WILL SET YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE! Anita's not particularily radical on any position from what I've seen. She's closer in spirit to Benny Hinn: their own beliefs respectively irrelevant; their marks belief in them t'what really matters.

He was, though. Anita isn't quite the true believer Joshathan is. She needed someone who has steeped themselves in modern feminist, patriarchy, and privilege theory to write for her. Joshathan has been living those theories for his entire life. He knew what to write to make it sound 'academic' and to hit all the buzz words. There's a reason she needs to read from a script at every speaking event or public(ish) appearance; and that's because she needed Joshathan to write for her.

But, because he's such a wimpy cuck, he made sure that everything Feminist Frequency is and was was under Anita's name, and not his. He wanted to be behind the scenes, and make it look like Anita was not only the face, but also the brains behind FF. And that's what fucked him over. He and Anita made such a big deal about her not being his puppet, that when she dropped him, he has no ability to really tell anyone how it really was. Because they made sure everything was in Anita's name, and because if he tries to say anything that shows he was the mastermind, he not only proves right everything said about the pair by detractors; but he also becomes just another butthurt privileged white male trying to take credit for a woman's hard work in the eyes of the true believers.

In the end, it's lose/lose for him. He will never give grobbitygibbiters (It gets hard to come up with nonsense words to sound like these SJW idiots, you know; probably because I don't have the mentality of a 5 year old) the pleasure of letting them know they were right about him and Anita. He also- because of his lifelong indoctrination- can not make it appear that he really is an asshurt privileged, supposedly straight, white, supposedly cis male; or he becomes literal Satan not only to those in SocJus, but also to himself.

He's so deep into self loathing because of how he was born, and he's made sure to project that self loathing as real concern for women/people of color (what are we, back in the 50's with this term?)/LGBTQIWhateverthefuckotherlettersaregettingaddedandremoved/communists.

I'm not even sure what he's trying to get at here. Pretty much every social model we've built has some element of force in it. It's a fail safe for when all other control mechanisms are down-you send in the knights/city watch/police/whatever when everything goes to shit, it also doesn't have a great deal to do with gender or even the fairly convoluted gender tropes he's on about . He seems to frequently use patriarchy when he means oligarchy, a fairly common error with SJW's.

Anita needed Jonathan to write her material, and he needed her as a meat shield against criticism.

If you go look at his past tweets, they barely got more than a handful of Likes or Retweets. Then go look at the very same Tweets parroted by Anita, and they have tons of Likes and Retweets. Nobody gave a shit about Jonathan before Anita, and no body is giving a shit about him after she left. His Patreon has been up for a week and has only 30 donors and raking in only $184 per video. If it was Anita doing this, she'd already be getting $10,000 per video from 30,000 Patrons by now.

Y'know for all this debate on who was the "brains" behind Feminist Frequency. My two cents is that Anita is definitely more intelligent than Jonathan in business, marketing, and in general. Jon is a spoiled rich and privileged man that wants to make his own name because he's always been overshadowed by other people, whether that's the work of his parents before him or Anita's work with him, he's just a generic rich kid with very little personality.

Sure, Sarkeesian videos are boring as hell to watch, but she definitely does fit the model of public speaker well for what she does. Jon isn't and never has been as good on camera, he's a lot more awkward and more of an extremist when it comes to the feminist thing.
