Careercow Jonathan "Full" McIntosh / RadicalBytes - "Pop Culture Detective", Cucked hard by Anita Sarkeesian, King Snowflake

So I haven't seen it discussed yet, but McIntosh wasn't just cast aside by Anita, he was actually replaced (if my understanding is correct). In fact, it was actually a Game of Thrones style betrayal by an autistic tranny.

Some of you may remember Carolyn Petit for the rather controversial GTAV review wherein she docked it a few points because it was misogynistic. A short while later, she was fired from Gamespot and officially unemployed in the most expensive city in the US (without the requisite trust fund like the cool kids). Ever the savior, McIntosh--who was already friends with Petit--offered her a job at Feminist Frequency as Deputy Autist or something. Things were swell and they had tons of fun publicly playing games with each other: https://archive.is/Zkblx

However, in the previously posted FF Annual Report, she's listed immediately under Anita as managing editor, which I'm willing to bet was McIntosh's previous role. She snipped the strings of our beloved puppetmaster and took his job. Again, this is all admittedly speculation on my part, but I think he was forced out and he's too privileged to successfully fight back. C'est la vie.

And here I figured Carolyn died an uneventful death or something.

So, McIntosh is bitching about how Deus Ex: Mankind Divided handles the theme of aug rights and the conflict with it:

Here's what Adam Jensen's voice actor had to say about that:

So what he wants is Spec Ops: The Line, right? Is that what he wants? It does exactly what he's talking about! And it is (SPOILERS) a pretty good game.

I'm sure that Feminist Frequencies Secretary Katherine Cross probably had something to do with it. I think them/it/he/she/xu/xr is probably the one doing most of the string pulling.

Makes Carolyn look positively feminine in comparison.

I'll never be able to wrap my head around the Islam fetishism among lefties. Jihadi Jon just can't help but condemn those straight white cishets who don't understand the sociocultural implications of their actions. If I ever become such a self-flagellating cuck, I ask to be humanely euthanized. With a shotgun.

Jonathon McIntosh is the perfect example of someone who has a ton of passion and conviction...and less than an ounce of sense to back it up.

Like, does he consider self-awareness to be patriarchal and Eurocentric? Cause his tweets have all the subtlety of a 12-year-old kid bashing a thesaurus against a keyboard while listening to Immortal Technique.

Both games explore interesting scientific concepts, multiverse theory and robotic augmentation, respectively. They do this in a very mature way. (What the fuck does "Bake your noodle" mean anyway?)

Meanwhile all the books he lists are written for people in middle school. His list of "Good science fiction" includes nothing by Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, George Orwell, or Ray Bradberry, the greatest Sci Fi writers of all time.

His list includes Moxyland, vN, iD, Oryx and Crake (calls it post apocalypse done right, which might be true if The Road was never written ), Space Merchants, A Wrinkle In Time, How to live safely in a Science Fictional Universe, The Compound, Cat's Cradle, and UBIK.

Only read The Compound out of these (it sucked) so I can't speak for the quality on those other ones. But given his shit taste, I'm not hopeful

About the only one of those I've heard of is A Wrinkle in Time. There are people who like that. I've never heard of any of the others, so probably - yeah, they do suck.

(But really, how can you have a list of good science fiction without Bradbury? Maybe he read Fahrenheit 451 and decided he was a closet Gamergater shitlord.)

These seem like the books that appear on those summer reading lists they make kids do

I'm surprised that Josh didn't recommend anything by John Scalzi or Cory Doctorow, since they're part of the SocJus circlejerk and they love to suck each other's dicks.

Don't bother John, people who think Bioshock Infinite was good sci-fi are most likely illiterate.

Or even a good game. "Hey lets take this open world rpg/shooter and turn it into a linear corridor shooter with shitty dumbed down rpg elements."

These seem like the books that appear on those summer reading lists they make kids do

Did you like Inception? UBIK was what Christopher "Hothead" Nolan ripped off.
