Careercow Jonathan "Full" McIntosh / RadicalBytes - "Pop Culture Detective", Cucked hard by Anita Sarkeesian, King Snowflake

If you don't think that 9/11 turned him into the cuck he is today, what do you think pushed him into it? He grew up in a wealthy family and it doesn't seem like he had issues with his parents.
It's not as if WTC 1 has a pandora's box of retarded ideas that were unleashed when a Boeing hit them. For some, sure. But, there's a chance that he would have turned out stupid, regardless of foreign terrorist attacks.

Treating women with respect and as equals does not require men to grovel at their feet or castrate themselves (figuratively or literally). Also, he makes the mistake discussing masculinity that a lot of MRAs do with feminism. Both ideas have fragmented so heavily it's impossible to speak of them in the singular. No one definition can describe all the schools of thought that label themselves as "masculinity" or "feminism". Some views of masculinity are indeed toxic in that they require men to be domineering, sexist assholes. But not all. There is also such a thing as toxic feminism. Readers of this site know what I'm talking about. The view that all men are secretly planning to rape every woman in arm's reach, that any depiction of female sexuality is demeaning, and that men get together to plot how to keep women subjugated are all toxic views. But not all feminists hold these views either. It's disingenuous to take the views of radicals and ascribe them to everyone in a movement.
Jonathan is a massive faggot is what I'm trying to say.

I know it's late of me to quote this, but I'd just like to set the record straight: The S.L.A. Marshall study cited by both useless cunts has been discredited since before Joshathan was born.

"Research" my thick-as-black dick.

Wasn't this the person who got salty at Witcher 3 because in the bits where you play as Ciri she may be subjected to gendered slurs from bad guys?

So, the player is controlling Ciri and large number of ill-intentioned people who all work for a delightful chappie who glories in the name of Cyprian "Whoreson" Wiley are all trying to kill her to death, and that's okay, but as soon as one of them yells, "fuck yourself, cunt!" at her, it's PROBLEMATIC.

Ugh.

What irks me the most about people like McIntosh is that if you call them out on their failure to do anything about the fact that there are places and communities where women really are second- and third-class citizens and treated as such both in law and fact, some of which are not too far away from their gentrified haunts, they'll wash their hands of it and shout "whataboutism!" and "cultural imperialism!" and go back to circlejerking over Steven Fucking Universe. Mainly because solving actual problems faced by oppressed and marginalised people requires effort while keyboard-warrioring is about as difficult as wiping your bum.

This always annoyed me the most. They did the same with one of the Arkham Asylum games too, the one where you can play as Catwoman.

Aren't they trying to spread knowledge of gendered insults being negative? Wouldn't bad people saying them prove their point? It's not like your character is the one saying them.

It's easier actually. Noted keyboard warrior David S. Gallant openly admits he never learned how to wipe his ass.

No, because people who aren't used to dealing with swear words used in real life don't understand that. They get uncomfortable and don't want to stop playing but also want it to stop.

If your end goal is a pacifist socialist utopia, you can work your way backward from how your society does not achieve this, and how you think this failure to achieve it contributes to the global pacifist socialist utopia. With the right axioms you might be able to convince yourself that changing art in the West will collapse strife and oppression globally by reprogramming culture. All the better if the art form is currently very popular (especially among the gender responsible for all of the world's defects) and underserved by your brand of criticism, so you can easily make a name for yourself, and hopefully do well materially. Advocating for women's rights in Saudi Arabia will at best bring women in Saudi Arabia to the standard of oppression of the West, but complaining about Bayonetta's ass will save the world. Plus when the Saudis jail or execute you, you will at best achieve a little note in the news ("male feminist beheaded"). No invitations to hip West Coast parties for you.

I remembered someone complaining about the use of gendered insults in AC. IIRC the only people shouting bitch, whore, slut, etc. were bad guys who you could beat up. I still don't get why they complained about fictional characters yelling bitch at another fictional character.

On the subject of McIntosh, I think his new series is just him wanting to gush about how much he loves SU.

Well obviously, but people like Jonathan McIncuck (SJWs, Femi-extremists, Cultural Marxists) aren't really about "The Cause".

If they were all about improving humankind, they'd be out delivering meals to the homeless or giving family planning lessons in African villages.

It's about power and social standing/prestige for them. Power to tell companies and people what to think/say/do, and social standing as virtuous people both out-group and in-group. (Also why you see constant in-group infighting and witch hunts)

So something like "gendered insults" are wielded as a weapon, and can be either "liberating" and feminist, or blatant misogyny and evil. It all depends on who the enemy is, and which standpoint makes them look good.

On planets that aren't full of cucks, we call those mechanics "fun."
So by this moron's reasoning, you can't enjoy something like a favorite book/movie/etc. enough to want to revisit it again because you genuinely like it, it's because you're simply addicted...

I want someone to slap a cup of coffee out of his hands every day to save him from caffeine addiction.

The Tocqueville effect is the phenomenon that, as social conditions and opportunities improve, social frustration grows more quickly. The effect is based on Alexis de Tocqueville's observations on the French Revolution and later reforms in Europe and the United States.
