Beetledrink erroneously accused Noah, starting this bizarre witch hunt. He responded twice, and then someone told Beetledrink to retract the accusation, which they refused to do. Beetledrink already had anonymous messages disabled (raising the question of how they were anonymously harassed in the first place), and soon disabled anonymous submissions as well, making it impossible to send rebuttals or ask for clarifications without risking doxxing. These posts are to be read from bottom to top.

Starting before Noah responded or even knew what was going on, there were verbally abusive posts/messages/replies directed at him sent by innumerable Tumblr users, including some of his former friends. They attacked him day and night for months, including the weeks he temporarily abandoned Tumblr. Here's a little taste.

Blocked from directly contacting Beetledrink, Noah tried to quash the rumors through Beetledrink's friend Cerothenull.

After this did nothing to help, Beetledrink continued slandering him, and the troll hordes continued assaulting him, he tried contacting other people associated with Beetledrink. His patience had understandably worn thin by this point.

This post documents the next step in the drama. Beetledrink was no longer being asked to admit Noah's innocence, simply to agree to cease talking about him and to tell their followers to do the same. Noah's a kind soul, and I'm sure he would've easily forgiven Beetledrink if they'd simply agreed to this truce. They vehemently refused, and also refused to negotiate a new truce. This was a turning point for me. Beetledrink's determination to keep the flame war burning out of pure spite meant that I could no longer give them the benefit of the doubt.

The next development was when I found out that Beetledrink was still posting about Noah much later, laughing about how they forced him to leave Tumblr. They were also making a post congratulating themselves for being kind to everyone, which they probably put up because they were fishing for arguments again. I decided it was time to tell Beetledrink, politely yet firmly, that their actions were inexcusable.

They then made a public post lying about this conversation, although they didn't quite come out and say that they were talking about me.

I had no clue they were feeling insecure, and I never said they "deserved to be harassed." That doesn't even make sense, because the harassment would have happened before they launched their hate campaign against Noah (assuming the harassment happened at all), because the harassment was the stated reason behind said hate campaign. Beetledrink's vaguepost caused the following conversation between me and Bogleech over Tumblr's direct messaging system. Notice how Bogleech initiated the confrontation, and that he was angry and irrational while I remained calm and civil and tried to reason with him logically. This is a recurring theme in our interactions.

This was the last message I saved, but it certainly wouldn't be the last wild message I received from Bogleech.

Man, come on, I already shared this bit:

And like, your own screenshots of "THE ACCUSATION" are still so mild, too. Beetledrink is only showing passing irritation and a little joke about their own pee jokes bringing it on themselves, even. It's an eye roll at worst, hardly a "callout." Nobody really cared that much or thought it was all that big a deal, except that it landed "noah" some tumblr blocks, which just happens. It's the internet.

It *became* a bigger deal to people solely because you lost your dang mind about those blocks and kept escalating it until you were writing weird shit about mutilating tongues and "releasing names for criminal consequences" or whatever. The original anonymous weirdness totally was something everyone would have written off as trivial and forgot about; the drama is all just on you and your ongoing reaction.

Even if your entire side were true and you have this "friend" who got falsely called out for someone else's behavior, it remains that nobody was really into the stuff "Noah Nat" kept messaging them either, and were just tolerating it as creepy but mostly inconsequential eccentricity. Almost nobody he talked to about piss fetish actually had their own piss fetish, or was even terribly curious about the subject.

So in a scenario where "Noah" was a real, actual distinct person from you, all he actually lost was connection to a couple of tumblr blogs that were never real friends and had no idea who he was. He could have just moved on, maybe to one of the many internet communities where piss talk is already a welcome subject, and already found some mutual pee pals. If the time and energy you put into yelling at people about this had been put into that, "Noah" could be living his dreams as we speak; gargling bladder cola in one of Des Moines's many fine econolodge showers.

No it isn't. You were referring to Noah's brief conversation with Beetledrink via Beecreeper in 2016 (link) which is completely unrelated to the harassment Beetledrink claims to have received.

All of these things you've posted are lies and half-truths. You're even still obsessing over the tongue mutilation joke (link) which was just a zany little quip that no one should give a second thought.

I think I've posted enough evidence to make any rational person take my side. Now I'm going offline for a good while. It's Thanksgiving, and I'd rather be anywhere but this place.

Oh boy, there is a lot of stuff to talk about going on now.

Trashfire's above post correctly summarizes what it's evolved into by now. It's a setting with morbid, over-the-top danger but there isn't clear-cut good and evil; those aren't even "human supremacists," I don't really want anything as unpleasant and sad as nazi allegories. They're just under the control of a scared, protective force that means well, but has robbed them of autonomy in its efforts to keep them safe, and still can't be judged for it on human terms because it's not a human.

Thanks for clearing this up. I will say that the concept of the game is interesting. Some of the art work is a strange mix of cartoony cute and horrifying. If that's the look you're going for like a grown up Saturday morning cartoon, I say go for it. Really some of those monsters are strait out of a nighmare. Personally I like my TTRPGs to be a little dark grey. I am kind of interested in seeing the mechanics at play. Been playing TT for over 20 years so I'm always interested in seeing something different come out. Just got copy of They came from beneath the sea. I can understand why it's hard to put everything you want to talk about on a kickstarter page for something like this, that's why the core books are so big. Actually want to see how a character can build their own lab and defend it.

Now having read all of the drama the past few pages. @Baglunch I do feel that you can get a little zealous when talking about your believes, but you can't get a leapord to change their spots. I'm don't see the point at screaming in to the void of the internet. I have noticed that you do have quite a few people that will hold grudges, for years it seems. We have a few of them show up to this thread. I kind of find them funnier to be honest.

I'm going to agree that having a stranger message you about their fetishes is creepy as fuck. It's creepy when friends do it too. Keep in in the bedroom.

Yes even with close personal friends people don't tend to just spring sexual talk on each other. They usually have enough interests to talk about that there isn't any pressing urgency to share masturbation fantasies with platonic associates, but there's this particular type of person who seems like they can never turn the horny mode off for a minute and wants to bring every conversation back to it. Even when they don't necessarily disturb or offend you it's exhausting how they try to turn the smallest interactions into fap fuel and the most audacious part is how they always think they're being slick and unobtrusive about it.

(Before we had a piss guy, some of the same circle went through all this with an inflation guy)

But on the nicer subject, I definitely do really like monsters that are "cartoonish" looking, even in serious horror contexts. I think I just picked that up from a mix of 1950's sci-fi art and the fact that a lot of deadly deep sea predators just look like muppets.

They Came From Beneath the Sea looks pretty fun, too.

Well yeah, of course it's hilarious, but he's spent so much time and energy hounding so many people over his D-list kinks that there had to be a pushback sooner or later, especially once I knew it had extended to people who were just teenagers.

Oh, for the sake of accuracy that wasn't a doxx and all happened before we knew Lee was a jerk, though it was a whole other weird fucking thing; he'd had my old PO box address for unrelated reasons years back, and one day I got this unmarked, hand-written letter talking about alien demon conspiracies, really schizophrenic and paranoid and sad, not the kind of "cool" thing someone might write for fun.

It turned out Lee had met some mentally ill man, gave him my address and told him I was some kind of researcher or authority on aliens, or something. Lee thought I'd be thrilled by the guy's letter and he kept begging me to scan and post it to my blog, or make an article about it. It took him a long time to drop the subject and he never did seem to understand what might be wrong with exploiting someone's mental illness, deceiving them for fun or giving my information out to a stranger who happens to suffer frightening, unpredictable delusions. That disregarded so many human boundaries at once that it was already a red flag, and THEN the pee stuff happened.

So now I've caught up with the Slimebeast stuff and I'm confused as hell. Even his own video doesn't claim he came up with any of the setting, there's only confusion over who pitched a website based on my Weird Meat setting.

He is the one who suggested it be based on the meat stuff, and I did misremember that as one of my proposals, but I think people are misunderstanding his video to mean that I stole credit for a bunch of worldbuilding that I now use in Awful Hospital. Conversely, people on "my side" think he's stolen credit from me for things, and he hasn't at all. He hasn't laid claim to anything of mine.

So, I've attached some of the emails where I pitched those worldbuilding elements, just to clear the air. Both our followings seem to have mangled this all up.

That guy is not a creepy bogeyman, he's a victim of schizophrenia, and when I said online that I received a clearly schizophrenic letter about invisible alien conspiracies you excitedly begged me to post it, which you know would be inviting thousands of strangers to gawk at someone's mental illness like it's entertainment.

Did you know he suffered from delusions when you had him write to me? You certainly did once I described the letter. In either case you thought the symptoms of his illness were just some sort of novelty. This isn't a far cry from your treatment of people in the piss fetish debacle either; the running theme here is that you strictly don't care about the comfort, boundaries or dignity of other people if you desire attention or entertainment from them.

-It was an article about ''real'' alien. If you really looked at it was only focused on the odd one, no small grey no reptilian, no nordic... do you understand that?

-Why you given the postal adresse to the other friend without bog consent? A message on the discord or a link to his site wouldn't suffice? It sound more invasion of privacy..
