I don't know why I'm still responding to this junk. Everyone needs to just stop taking Bogleech and Beetledrink seriously. They're predatory trolls who've caused a lot of suffering to a lot of people and will keep doing so as long as they're enabled.

His long letter tried to warn me of something like a shadow government involving demon-like subterranean aliens and had no return address or name on it because he thought they would use it to hunt him down. Maybe you just didn't know and he never told you these things, whatever, you'll feign ignorance either way.

You're saying this like it's a bad thing. Piss man should just have done that when he signed up here, sounds like he'd have fit right in.

Beetledrink is obsessed with causing ongoing harm to Noah and to the people who came to his aid. When I was combing their blogs in an attempt to understand this conflict I saw a lot of unrelated arguments and tirades. It's highly apparent that Beetledrink either enjoys fighting, enjoys watching people suffer, or both. There's also the distinct possibility that they cooked up this whole drama from scratch. It stretches believability that someone would stalk Beetledrink incessantly for a year without being seen by anyone else or leaving any trace of their existence and that Beetledrink would keep completely quiet about constant harassment for a year. I want to end their campaign in a way that ensures the misinformation will not continue to spread to the detriment of innocent people.

As for the old man, I'd like to cease the discussion completely. I wasn't even supposed to admit that I knew him, but I broke that promise for what I thought was a good cause (clearing up a potentially harmful misunderstanding).

I'm not sure where you got that impression, considering the origin of this website lies in, as you put it, gawking at the mental illness of a by and large innocuous person for entertainment. Nor is it news to anyone that this place is vilified by "most people", at least among those aware of it - there's a thread in General dedicated to just that. Popular opinion is only what you make of it.

This comment feels just weird to me coming from someone who's known for liking things that "most people", again, consider repulsive. By that metric, what's the difference between you and those who enjoy laughing at people doing foolish things, or that pony cum jar guy, whoever that is?

Not to keep derailing but that's such a strange equivalence to draw. Presumably you're referring to me gushing over fish parasites or carnivorous fungus, but I think it's unironically awesome and great that our planet is full of crazy monsters forever mutating convoluted new ways to eat each other. I'm not mocking wildlife for cringe, and even if I were, a stupid looking lizard isn't a person or capable of caring that we find it hilarious.

I might joke about people I feel are making a problem of themselves or disrespecting others unfairly, and I can see the absurdity of someone actually raging over silly shit like Sonic the Hedgehog, but what we were just talking about a second ago was someone living in paranoia and fear from uncontrollable schizophrenia symptoms, and you still felt that would be the same funnie meem fodder. I kind of always thought that kind of heartlessness was a performative thing? Like a satirical gimmick that just went a little too viral during 4chan's peak. If you know someone's not doing anything wrong, or even the only one suffering in the situation, you only feel sympathy right?

Yeah, precisely, and all associated IP's also trace back to the same city too; Des Moines Iowa.

But as is probably abundantly clear by now, the more anybody points out the flaws or the sheer frivolousness of the whole thing, the tighter he clings to it with infinite endurance and you'll never be rid of him as long as there's any avenue he has to communicate with you and you even remain too neutral for his liking.
