For somebody who claims not to care about this place the Bawg seems to come here on a regular basis.

Also, I have yet to figure out why he keeps bringing up MAGA, Trump, antisemitism, alt-right, and neo-Nazis when none of us here even mentioned any of those things except coming from the Bawg himself. His Godwin level is over 9,000!

It was like, within a day, but as I said, this happened a few months ago, maybe close to a year.
I would check out Neopets alternatives (since JumpStart have shown they give no fucks about old fans and want to rebrand - and don't get me started on the site redesign), but Neo has nostalgia and seniority, and I can't say that virtual pets do it for me like they used to. That, and most of them, especially Subeta, look like furry central - no thanks. Though, I checked out your write-up on Subeta's bugs and creepy/monster designs and I agree that most are pretty cool. Glad you're enjoying it, in any case.
Rants aside, I appreciate the response. I'll probably resend next time I can bother to log in.

Given the site's run by a guy who by his own admission is a racist and had a big injection of alt-right spergs a couple years ago, I really don't blame anyone who has that impression of this site TBH.
EDIT: "Mad on the Internet" does not mean "I disagree with your opinion".

I didn't mean I wasn't going to come here anymore, I meant that I don't care anymore about explaining or justifying my opinions or actually changing someone's mind. Mortasheen itself was in part a response to Neopets at one time, I had items and maps and all kinds of goofy stuff planned out like it was gonna be the Garbage Pail Kids or Madballs of virtual pet sites. That sure changed a lot. It's easier than ever now to make that type of site but it's one of those things I just think about and put off.

Well of course I still care what relatively normal people think, like Lexmechanic is nice enough, Blackdepths is nice enough, they can complain and debate without it feeling like dumbassed drama, but I've written an awful lot of words on the internet attempting to "win over" people who are already at the point of sincerely using terms like "soycuck" and it feels embarrassing as well as kind of two-faced in retrospect. I could convince them that I'm one of the Cool Ones to them and they'll just keep being douchebags to other people, so nothing is achieved other than me having one less troll.
