I wonder where JY stands on the issue of a covid vaccine? He likes promoting mask regulations on twitter so I assume he's on board. Watch for fake outrage as he's low down on the list to get one since 30 year old fat guys aren't included in the initial roll outs.

I remember back when the swine flu vaccine was being released, the select groups would line up at the clinics and would be given numbers while waiting outside. Once the numbers ran out everyone else was turned away until the next clinic. The freakouts from the people who didn't make it in time to receive a number/vaccine were noteworthy. Hopefully the ministry of health as learned from that roll out, but I expect to see at least glimpses of similar behavior from low quality people like JY once the shanghai shivers vax starts being administered.

Tought o say. Certainly he'll be in for the grift. But then he'll also be motivated to seize a popular narrative which he won't be criticised for , and try to become a Take The Vaxx celebrity and lord his obeisance over everyone. my understanding is he is still on probation, but just doesn't need to check in his his probation officer. He still has to follow the terms of his probation though. It's pretty common for people with lesser crimes and first time offenders (especially with covid)

Fuck's sake. The Troon Armour still has a couple of layers left on it when I thought for sure it was busted for good.

It's less that our justice system is cucked, but rather too goddamn overloaded when they start to release idiots with weapons violations from supervised parole, ESPECIALLY after he garnered charges after his weapons conviction!!

But as @Jaded Optimist says, he IS still a first-time offender in the eyes of the court, and with Covidmania running wild, the system is even more clogged and backlogged then usual, and shedding some of the less dangerous riffraff makes sense. At least he still cant get a gun.

In Ontario it is legal to possess body armor. In BC you must have a permit or be exempt because of your job, cops, armored car personnel, security guard. Here are the reasons the province can refuse to issue a permit:

Seems such a strange comment to make...did he think the court would be obliging with him intending to finance the body armour himself?
