An "associates degree" is a diploma or certificate from community college. Typically a 2-year program, but can be done in 3 (ie., for night-school/"adult-learners"). I have two. They're not entirely useless, but they don't go terribly far. Usually one takes an associates program to either get a looks-good-on-a-resume certification or decide if they want to go the distance to a bachelor's or associates. The bar-for-entry into community college is basically "Do you have a pulse? Can you pay us the money? ".

Someone suggested that it's just the grift to keep the student loans rolling. That's most likely it, although the student loans typically come due 6 months after graduation (or sooner if you drop out). So fatboy has to have a helluva ponzi scheme to be paying off the old ones. Or he's full of shit. You decide, but I know which one I'm going with.

Keep in mind, he’s not in USA. In Canada, an associates degree is little better than a GED certificate or “some college”.
There’s a reason only one province recognizes them.

I'm a hiring manager at a professional services gig as part of my day job. Yes, I do google job applicants. A JY type of "oh, so THAT happened, I guess!" type of search result would ... I don't even know! It'd obviously be a "no", and I wouldn't even want to waste my time interviewing them - but we typically decline based on either "skills" or "personal fit".

I don't think we even have a category for "oh, fuck no! 90% of the female employees will resign and we'll be the laughing stock of the Internet!"

Getting admitted isn't hard. You just have to meet the minimum criteria. There's a small application fee attached, but that's it. I was accepted to 3 universities as well, but that means nothing until you actually start taking classes and declare your major. And taking classes is where the real money gets charged.

If all he's getting is an associate's degree then there's likely ZERO standards for admission.

Interestingly, BC is the only province that offers associate's degrees.

With the trend in degree inflation, the associate's degree is already a waste of time. Just get the Bachelor's degree.

He relies on the ignorance of the majority of posters not knowing the truth about his dog, he still manages to hook one or two...those that do know him are quick enough to pull him up on his lies.

Regardless of whatever he's claiming, dog status wise, that animal should be under control 100% and not traumatising folks, particularly small kids. Imagine if that child had been alone, for whatever reason, in that garage...it's obvious yaniv can't control the dog 12 months on - can't even control himself so the dog's got no chance. Personally, I'd be putting in a complaint to the strata management and the police.

If the parent makes a fuss (strata/police) then yaniv will start lashing out with his predictable "traumatised victim" shite, as is his usual MO (eg Bexte/Hamm). If him and his pooch are innocent (yeah right) where's his video to back up his claims? he's got a shot of the child and bloke after all.

Pity he couldn't have used the fire-alarm for assistance with this life-threatening episode.

I'll freely admit to the fact that - even though I've owned dogs myself (or perhaps: because; mine were trained!) - I'm slightly terrified of uncontrollable mutts! Strange dogs lunging at me put me firmly into "fight or flight" mode every time.

Even though I'm a dog lover, I can't promise you that your uncontrolled aggressive animal would be safe around me if I felt my child was under threat!

In that sense: I guess dad was being charitable!

Yeah I'm similar around dogs despite having had a few in the past. I'm particularly wary re dogs around kids.

I'm curious about the video - I've no reason to believe he wasn't filming everything and everyone as usual, the pic proves he had some sort of camera/phone on him at the time. I really want to hear if he was just as aggressive and threatening with this bloke as he was with Kamal, although I should imagine he dropped one when challenged.

Does Jon understand that this fantasy persecution he purports to constantly suffer is going to become a real event if he doesn't stop pestering people's minor daughters? In any civilized society, Jon would have been pitched head-first down a deep, empty well long before now and if he isn't taken care of through formal legal means eventually someone will take a little natural justice into his or her own hands to protect his or her child(ren), not-in-Minecraft, from the creepy, leering, sex pest troon. (And literally nothing of any value will be lost and no one will care).
