That wasn't implied at all. My condo board actually installed cameras on every floor that monitor the pull alarms, elevators and laundry to see whos fucking around.
Three falses aren't extravagant, it includes stuff like kitchen smoke that set off the master CO monitor.

Plenty of people live in large residential apartments with fire alarms. The rules around false alarms work on the assumption that the residents aren't deranged sex pests. They acknowledge that every so often someone is going to burn toast and set the alarm off. If someone does repeatedly set it off, it's usually in the context of being a careless fuckup and not an actual menace. They're almost certainly not going to fine you for a genuine accident, and if you're contrite enough you probably won't get fined for a 2nd or a 3rd, even if technically the rules state you could. The bylaws are usually written and enforced in a way where someone who IS running afoul of the rules is given plenty of chances to correct it and restore a good working relationship with their neighbours. The Yanivs know this and abuse the process, the same way they abuse the legal system, emergency services, and the healthcare system.

They use every courtesy to stretch out the length of time they can inflict themselves on others. It's an appalling state of affairs, but you honestly don't want your building manager treating everyone who infringes a rule like they should be treating the Yanivs.

This court document is Yaniv tearing up his own floor boards to find evidence to use against his accusers. The filing is the legal equivalent of poo flinging by an enraged orangutan and will not be successful. And a camera in a window that is pointing in your direction is not evidence of surveillance. A friend of mine has 2 cardboard iPads propped up in his apartment windows that are doing a great job of behaviour modification as the local idiots are wary of being recorded doing what they used to do.

I wonder if it were actually him. The cat was mutilated with some sort of sharp object, and all his other documented violent acts and threats were made with a blunt weapon. Unfortunately there are a lot of sick fucks out there.
