Honestly, I thought I was all for trans rights, but Jonathan is making me rethink it. He’s the kind of person who can turn allies into TERFs without even trying.
It's easy to be all for trans rights, as long as you can plausibly believe that creeps like Jonathan either A. don't really exist - he embodies the worst of everything that terves predicted would happen, or B. will be outed and shamed by the trans community for their creepy behavior - he's affirmed and protected by it.
The single-person bathroom is the last refuge of terves who don't want some perv waving a dick in their face.

There are a lot of troons in tech - Twitter, Google (YouTube), Facebook, Wordpress. They protect their own. Any criticism of a transgender person, even valid criticism, is likely to get deleted and maybe get you banned from the platform. It's "harassment" or "hate speech".
Stating that he works with young girls is the most horrifying thing anyone with a child, or sibling, could think of.
It's a toss up which is worse... that, or the way he questions why anyone would feel unsafe that a woman is working with young girls. Women can't be predators, apparently, and she's a woman, so there's no need to worry... we should just ignore all the really creepy, predatory stuff that she's said about young girls. Replacing all the "he" pronouns with "she" pronouns totally makes that sound okay.
I wonder what happens when the worst happens, and he molests a child or gets van’d for trying to pick one up. Because that will happen if he’s not stopped, and he’s not smart enough to cover his tracks. What then? How will these people who stand up to him respond when faced with the proof that they were directly complicit in an act of evil?
If they get their way, it will be purged from history. They will shut down any discussion of it and it'll be like it never even happened. Anyone who mentions it will be un-personed.
