Oh wow, really? In Canada it's one tugboat and that's it. Disability pays little but it's still the best boat we've got. But you get one tugboat and if it isn't the appropriate one, they'll just move to the most appropriate: disability or welfare. Those are your choices. The end.

I enjoy the idea of Jonny boy seething while watching that GoFundMe for his victims grow. The idea that his victims are getting money has to be eating him up like a HCL cocktail. I'll donate to both and trust that the GoFundMe goes to the women.

I'm writing today because I've recently been made aware of Jessica Yaniv's delegation to Township Council on an all bodies swim and am sickened. The event as Yaniv has described it on twitter and in delegation filings is an ages 12 and up topless swim where parents and guardians are explicitly banned from the event. This swim is incredibly dangerous for children to attend and seems like an obvious attempt to make a publically sanctioned child grooming meetup. This by itself should be enough to make council deny Yaniv's letter of support however there is more council needs to be made aware of.

Through the media firestorm a lot of information on Yaniv's Internet past has been brought up and is frankly disturbing. Step 3 is where you hire an attorney and it's on contingency 99.9% of the time. As for why you can't just go in and say "No really I'm disabled please gib" with "evidence" there are three primary reasons:
  • You don't qualify if your medical condition doesn't prevent you from working for over 12 months anyway
  • They won't hire more fucking judges to lower the timetable from 18-30 months to ~12 because insert reason here
  • Disability in the USA is very different than it is in other countries where you're basically just handed it in 3-6 months because you don't get some paltry $500 per month. You will qualify for a minimum of $776 per month (the equivalent of minimum wage 24 hours a week) even if you've never worked a day in your life. If you've spent the past 10 years working minimum wage 40 hours a week you'll qualify for $988 per month (the equivalent of minimum wage 32 hours a week). If you've earned higher wages you'll qualify for more. Because of this there is a higher risk of abuse because unlike in other countries disability can easily pay more than working some part time job burger flipping.
I think this is why people from the USA are surprised when they hear so-and-so is receiving some form of disability in other countries. They don't recognize the bar here is so much lower and so is the pay.

I won't quote exact figures for UK sickness benefits (long winded) but not unheard of for a single person, for example, receiving £900+ a month in sickness payments + if in social housing their rent and council taxes being paid and the door open for other income-related benefits also. If you have kids that figure can be a lot more.

In some cases, it's financially better to claim benefits than work a minimum wage job. That's why in the last few years the Govt has been trying to clamp down on abuse however that clampdown has been/is having a dreadful impact on genuine claimants.

gotta be loophole in there somewhere. Yaniv gets the BCHRT version of a class action lolsuit. Every bridge he's burnt comes after him for refusing to "SEO" or whatever the fuck he claims to do beside suck welfware, BCHRT gets 20-30 cases against him for refusing service of muzzis, Terfs, people who just don't want him to molest their kids... I think I've made my point.

Cost of living makes it impossible for them to just milk the system here, need LoLsuits to live. Rent's now 1000$ a month for a 1 bedroom in Langley, its retarded. Even with owning his own place I doubt that fat fuck could afford his meals and tampon habit on Canadas disability alone.

Edit: if they make extra income they have to report it too I'm pretty sure and itll lower their cheques.

My favorite part about all of this is the following: If this continues to get all the wrong kinda of attention for Yaniv, he only has himself to blame!

He had a protective publication ban in place to shield him from negative consequences, but he just couldn’t keep his big mouth shut.

Twitter, stupidity and/or thinking they’re invincible is how many lolcows and pervs end up self destructing.

Also why there are so many homeless people in major Canadian cities like Vancouver or Toronto.

In other countries, many of them would be sitting in their little rent controlled apartment and somehow manage to get by on a limited budget. In Canada disability is so low that it’s really hard to survive on it.

I’m all for working for a living too, but that’s just not possible for everyone.
