This bamboo is grasping on to fucking everything it can. Suing the building. The building is owned by individuals who own their units and live there. The strata corporation only manages and maintains common property areas.

Real fucking piece of work. I don’t even want to go walking around cause I’m scared I’ll get cornered by those two dodos... makes it even better I feel I can’t talk cause if I do I will prob get sued!

He thinks he's showing empathy. It's an emotional skin suit that let's him demonstrate he's normal. It's not working. And if you turn the sound down, it looks like he's choosing a bunch of flowers.

He's loving the attention and getting plenty of it.

Worst case scenario - nothing comes of the pedo stuff and he never gets arrested, but keeps doing enough online to get all the attention he's craving, but not enough to warrant an investigation.

But that's me thinking he plays things smart. Hah.

I did! I think it’s very interesting and sets up a picture of a dysfunctional guy who ends up with an equally dysfunctional wife in Miriam. I’m curious to the inside story and hearing from the children of the first marriage, but to be honest if it was me who had a half brother who was like Jonathan, there is no way in HELL I’d acknowledge any of this mess in public.

Edit: the only mildly interesting thing about searching for Jonathan Yaniv in Hebrew (יונתן יניב) is that Miranda Yardley’s site has the Hebrew as part of the key words so you do find info about him in Hebrew- and his pictures do come up as well. People are tagging him in Hebrew.

I'm personally doubtful that he would own both properties just because the amount of money he would need to own both (or the credit score he would need to take out two mortgages) would be just insane for a guy who spends his life sitting on his ass.

That said, who knows. BC is a madhouse. Add in age-restricted housing and you get all sorts of crazy. Watching this clusterfuck has made my province seem straightforward and tame in comparison.

I speak from experience, you can hold title for the 55+ communities, so long as you can give then a compelling case that you do not seek to be a primary resident there. The main one is by owning your own primary home. In Yaniv's case he owns property across the street. They would not question it. I inherited my parents 55+ house well before 55. We moved my 55+ Mother in Law in there after my Father in Law passed away, but I am the homeowner. The board had no issues with this. As long as you can show a main primary residence they tend to rubber stamp it. For those that inherit they will even typically allow 50+. From what I have learned from friends the only 55+ community that tends to be more strict is The Villages in Florida. And that's only because they don't want younger relatives using them as Orlando adjacent vacation property. The biggest thing with the 55+ community is NO KIDS!!!! I don't think Miriam has much to worry about in that regard.

Ya, that's Miriam talking. And whoever holds the deed to her condo, if they're under 55 they can't live there. Numerous deadbeat kids coming home to "help" have tried this and the boards almost universally say no.

Where I am, the HOA for these condos themselves is twice what others are despite offering similar amenities. Maybe an occasional social event for the residents. When that gets more intensive is with something like assisted living, where you're now living in a $600K studio that you pay $2,000 in HOA fees to so that you can have meals in their "dorm cafeteria." You want that same treatment when actual nurses and doctors have to treat you daily and the facility doesn't smell like pee? Easily $10,000. Per month.

Then he should delete his Twitter. It's gotten 5,000 mostly hate followers since he reopened it in March and over 1K since July, so protecting it would do nothing.

But we all know he won't do it.

If he did that then he'd have no attention at all. Plus in his view closing his Twitter would mean a "loss".
