If those bras were Miriam's, she probably yelled at him for attempting to sell her bras without permission, and forced him to pull the ad. If he did bought those new like some Twitter comments suggested, then he probably got cold feet at the prospect of meeting a hambeast of a woman (ie: his soulmate) and chickened out. In either case, I doubt that there was anyone who actually wanted to buy them.
