The whole point of the Borat/Ali G character is to make you feel uncomfortable with your own beliefs laid out in front of you. That's not really happening here.
I still can't believe that's the case. As far as we know, he has always been like this. In his Google Douchegle days he was also known to have many issues. Every attempt he has made as an entrepreneur has been to game some system or elevate his stature in some half-baked way.
That, and his audacity has tapered off significantly. Most of the social-media activity comes from people reading backwards across his twitter/facebook history and applying their thoughts to his latest much less controversial tweets. He's borderline inane now, but the responses are extremely vitriolic.
He may just be biding time on the BCHRT stuff, or maybe someone on the inside has tipped him off that anything he does or says now could significantly worsen any hope in hell he'll come out on top.
He's basically been a failure at every venture he's tried in the past. He's still a legend in his own lunchtime, though, and he can keep on thinking that until the cows come home. There's not a humungous trail of minor non-mainstream blog/media posts about him and almost no mainstream media attention - that tells me he's already failed - again.
We're practically down to the "Go away Troll" level, now. Put a fork in it, it's done.
But by all means, don't stop theorizing on account of the downward-taper. It's still fun to guess, and if his history is any indication, he'll just resurface with a different angle/issue/problem.

You have to wonder if 'Jonathan Yaniv' isn't some sort of Ali G/Borat like parody character designed to mock the notion that gender is a matter of self-identification and at the same time legally protected from discrimination. TERFs, religious conservatives and crypto religious conservatives like Jordan Peterson have argued this and the idiot woke Twitter mob have just ignored their arguments as transphobic and claimed that any notion that malicious people might exploit the rules is paranoid fantasy. Well they can't ignore Yaniv exploiting those rules.
So it would fit that he's a parody character. Mind you it's hard to see how anyone would think sending sexualized messages to underage girls is a reasonable thing for a comedian to do. And unless all the people who came forward to claim that are in on the joke, it's hard to believe that didn't happen.
I think he's a particularly dark example of Poe's Law
