My understanding is they just have to give out a list of tenants names; let’s not get into subleasing, as that gets way more complicated.
I don’t think they give out unit numbers, phone numbers, email, etc.
At least that’s how it works in Ontario.
If it’s for safety, no one needs more than a name to look up a criminal record.
I do think he expected a list of everyone by unit, blood type, sexuality, race, religion…
I really hope both the Yanivs stratas hire special council to get them out. There absolutely is precedence, but it would require study in specific case law.
