So assuming an animal cruelty/neglect charge makes its way past Yaniv's troonshield, what sort of punishment would he be looking at? Is he likely to get a lifetime ban from owning animals?

It does seem unlikely that Yaniv will be charged with anything since troonshield plus his service animal grift, but I suspect the service animal scam will unravel itself and HOPEFULLY draw attention from the authorities.

None. The police will not come and punish him or take the dog away just because of a shock-collar. Lots of people have shock collars for their dogs and they are perfectly legal.
The police also have a lot more important things to worry about than autists calling them an "yaniv has shockcollar on his dog, do something".
That is just fucking retarded and the cops will just hang up on them.

There will be no action against Yaniv for this. You need a LOT more serious stuff than "not training your dog properly" or "has shock collar" for the authorities to step in. A lot more serious.

He keeps telling people to kill themselves, calling people retards, etc.

He finally got my fb, so I don’t know what he’s doing other than presumably still posting high fat foods.

He attended a dinner hosted by the SFU president/chancellor and accepted an award with the group. Unclear if he was invited or simply bought a ticket. Either way he barged into their photo and gladly accepted credit for the "work" (presumably just tweeting or whatever) put in by this group before his arrival.

Some have claimed that this account is also JY though I'm not sure. It seemed to me to be someone posing as JY. But the account curiously went quiet right when @SFUJessica popped up so who knows.
