I imagine it would be similar to a probation term in the US, where the meds you are prescribed are monitored and you are drug screened pretty regularly until the probation term is over.

No I can tell you as fact you will not be forced to take meds in America even if you require them. Maybe they can force suboxine or some other hard reduction meds on you in court but if you goto prison you can turn it down. I know they wont force meds on you in prison because I've been there and I turned mine down every morning cuz they came at like 4am and would wake you up and you just say no enough a year or two later they will stop. Now maybe suboxine could be forced on a addict I don't know never had a drug crime but I know plenty of people on drug court which is the worst punishment I think you can get in America I'll see if any of them were forced to take something like suboxine but I really don't see America forcing people to take meds

What they CAN do - sometimes - is make taking your meds a condition of probation/parole. It's a loophole that the government can use - if they can sentence you to sit in a box for ten years, they can offer you the option of not sitting in the box if you do X, Y, and Zed.

Sometimes, one of X, Y, and Zed is declared cruel and unusual and forbidden going forward.

This sort of already happened. The local Paramedics filed a sexual harassment complaint with the city against Jon following his nonstop bathtub calls. Now they will only respond and enter with the Police. This was a few years back when he got his stinkditch installed.

Don’t know about suboxone but naltrexone injections are sometimes part of conditional release (which is stupid because there is scant evidence it works. Naltrexone pills have a documented effect in reducing alcohol intake, but it was never intended for opiate addiction).

Yea Suboxone was designed for synth opiates to real opiates in today's market they really aren't that great, but I'm really surprised the gov't will force people to take these pills but not heart med pills or diabetes meds. When I was in prison I turned down my diabetes meds every morning since they would come at 4 or 5 am and wake me up and then I'd have to sit there in the "dark" for a hour waiting on breakfast so I just stopped taking them.
