That's the thing. the idea of having tampons available in an emergency isn't a bad one. But seeing the insistence that it be on JY's terms is cause for alarm given Yaniv's fetish for feminine hygiene products. Even if Yaniv doesn't state an interest in helping with or observing them being used, it still calls to question JY's true endgame or ulterior motive because it's definitely not Yaniv's desire to help the community as a whole. JY comes across as more self-righteous than righteous.
So let me get this straight, MtF troons want to be able to use women's spaces - including restrooms - yet they want feminine products available in male restrooms. What am I missing here? ?
This reminds of the activists that claim school districts or businesses need to update their -ist or -phobic policies and practices to meet SJW standards and then conveniently bring up the fact they're also consultants that can help implement the changes for a nice, exorbitant consulting fee. As horrifying as it is to consider, I don't think we can rule out JY wanting to go down this path with his demand for feminine products in all bathrooms.
I know Canadian schools are funded differently than their American counterparts, but schools here wouldn't be thrilled if they were suddenly required to have to fund tampons in every bathroom in their district because it would likely be an unfunded mandate with the money coming from other more-necessary budget items. Would Canadian schools also raise issues about the cost of such a directive if it suddenly became a requirement?
Older boys will do similar things. In 8th grade, a 7th grade edgelord happened to be using the bathroom at the same time I was and felt it necessary to tell and show me how each time he used visited, he'd wad up toilet paper, wet it, and fling it on the ceiling to see how long it would stay in place until it either fell down or the custodians saw and removed it. I can easily see the same thing happening to feminine products, assuming the guys didn't instead go "OMG, Eww!" upon learning what was there.
That aside, how many times in the retail horrors and other threads have people posted about people flushing feminine products down the toilet to jam them, leaving used ones anyplace but a proper disposal receptacle, or simply misusing them so there's none left for those in legitimate need? The misuse of those placed in male restrooms will be far greater than those used legitimately. Yet, troons will insist they be placed there in the name of wokeness, inclusion, or whatever the buzzword of the day may be.
