Someone said blackstone media (the one putting out the photo page) owns a bunch of small papers--all of which place "house ads" for themselves or their own charities when they can't sell ad space. I doubt severely that anyone paid for the ad.

2. Nowhere on it does it link back to the MissBC.ca home page.
3. On the original pages most of these seem like real pro shots. Some of pics on the 2019 contestants page look like Tinder pics.
4. There is even a girl in a wedding dress when there is a whole total category for Mrs. BC.

TBH, I don't think it made much difference what @Xenu Warrior Princess used as an identifying mark; JY would still spin it as anti-transgender behavior to indicate them separately from the rest of the people. It's interesting how people with threads about them - and especially troons - are quick to excerpt the posts that provide confirmation bias that the 'Farms is some evil cabal of hate toward their self-identified marginalized groups. It's convenient yet unsurprising that they omit the posts where members have openly stated their general belief that people deserve to be treated with dignity and civility regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, etc. but they in turn need to treat the people they want to accept them the same way.

That's possible and plausible. There are plenty of publications where the publisher will use any unallocated ad space to promote itself and its services in an attempt to drum up new business or new advertisers. Also, it's more aesthetic to see a page completely filled with content as opposed to glaringly-obvious blank gaps or spaces.
