I'm telling you, he's in it for the scam/money first. I know a few people who are bipolar and one of the defining traits with them is their distinct lack of trustworthiness. They are always out for a scam and you have to watch yourself because if you give them the chance they'll take shit from you without thinking twice. On the other hand, they're so incompetent (generally speaking) that the scams/hustles are so obvious it's almost charming in a deranged sense.

Jonathan on the other hand is schlubby wannabe pedo and there's nothing remotely endearing about him and anyone that gave him a dime is complicit in his predatory behaviour as far as I'm concerned.

If the contestants were asked to sign some morality clause, which seems probable because the organizers wouldn't want a KKK member as a winner, then it's quite possible he was thrown out because people contacted them with his old screenshots. the things you listed are more associated with cluster b personality disorders than bipolar, though being bipolar can make it hard to get diagnosed with a comorbid personality disorder because their mood disturbances are so strong that it is hard to test their personality characteristics until they are stable on medication for a long time. Robin Williams was mania personified when he was alive tbh, I have known bipolar people who weren't trying to get anything out of anyone really, they were all being reckless in some way of course, but not necessarily in a way that was to take advantage of anyone.

yaniv is a sociopath. a really dumb one, but definitely a sociopath. I know because he keeps failing out of things that would upset normal people, and while he isn't crying about it, he is trying to fake crying about it, and doing a remarkably poor job of doing so. He looks like a clown wiping non-existent tears away only from the eye closest to the camera, or mistakenly believing you can cry out "chunks" of eyelashes. I have confidence that he drinks or does drugs between his scammy lawsuit filings to deal with the boredom that eats away at all sociopaths.

BTW how do school districts in BC function? In most of the states the school district is independent of the city/town and the council wouldn't have any say in school programs. That would be up to the school board.

Most adults with a food allergy come to terms with it. Find that X causes pain and shits? Don't eat it, problem solved. There may or may not be docs involved, but their first line is gonna be 'don't eat it'. Especially when it is food the human body can survive without. Most adults heed this and modify their diets. Many even lose weight as inflammation goes away and extra junk calories aren't eaten.. I sometimes wonder if these fatties truly do have undiagnosed sensitivities to the crap they shovel in. The anal leakage ballsweat requiring sanitary pads, crazy poop, the farts, the distended bellies...I'd almost feel bad if they didn't deserve it. Yes. He's exploiting another entrenched human right (to be heard by your local guv) to manipulate a trapped audience and that was one goal of the Miss BC bullshit too. Every council meeting is the Jonathan Yaniv Show where he can soapbox, get attention, and who knows maybe humiliation like dressing as a lady in public is one of his paraphilias. It's unfortunate that good systems of government depend on most individuals NOT holding Yaniv's pathology. Langley council might be obligated to hear him but they're not obligated to institute any of his ideas.

In the States they do. I worked for an org that ran extensive checks, all of which started with a simple google search. We weeded out a lot of predators that way. It was an organization that worked with trouble teenagers, and one time I found a guy who thought the age of consent was too high, and teenaged girls should be encouraged to get with older men. Yeah, we trashed his application, but he just got the polite "we've decided to move forward with other candidates" email we send to everyone we didn't hire.

He'd pass them as they typically only look at convictions, and Yaniv hasn't been charged.

That doesn't mean he has automatic entitlement to be near children, though. Oger's the big advocate for trans-ed in the Vancouver area, and I'd imagine citing Oger's essay would be enough of a reason.

If JY files a complaint on Oger, I doubt BCHRT will be so accommodating.
