I was wondering why as well. He's not in the pageant anymore so he doesn't need to act like he gives a shit about the community. Maybe it's a PR much like the National Sex Day thing. If he can get his name tagged on to a bunch of these type thing it may cover up and improve his current SEO.For those metrically challenged, 961.3 meters / .9613 km is approximately 0.6 (3/5) of a mile. I'm trying to figure out how JY received such a precise measurement. I'd think most people would simply say something such as, "I adopted another kilometer of roadway."
I may have missed the previous adopt-a-highway discussion squeezed in between JY's more horrific posts, but I'm curious if JY is the sole adoptee of these roadway segments or if JY is part of a group. Given JY's fitness issues - and presumed usage of injectable weight loss medicine based on recent posts claiming an OD on such - I just can't see JY walking a km or more of roadway solo picking up trash and keeping it maintained.
It wouldn't surprise me if this is yet another example of slacktivism where people claim, "See, i'm doing something" when the reality is they aren't doing anything at all and just make the claim for show.

Who says it can't be both?
