On the bright side, seems she's not currently active in the work force because she is a stay-at-home mom to a special needs child. She still has her Phd and her counselling skills; maybe when she re-enters the workforce she could just re-brand as a life coach or something.

They spoke privately through DM's which could be where JY is gathering their complaint from.
I am disappointed she's backing down. Maybe she's doing it so she CAN speak more publicly about JY without continued complaints.

I kinda thought it was this. I'm in the states, but since McGovern in '72, it's hasn't been considered kosher to diagnose people without meeting them IRL. Alicia has been powerleveling her credentials since January, she then unblocked JY so he could DM her and powerleveled that on Twitter, and then continued to appear to ridicule him publicly. She is intelligent and should have known what her boards would have to say on this.
@sixthwave, unlikely that she's taking one for the team deliberately. She's not the first cred psychologist that's been thrown off Twitter over JY, and her eventually getting reinstated had nothing to do with what the licensing boards would do. Everyone involved in bloodborne situations knows what "universal precautions" means, and Alicia did not follow those.
Mijo it is not like she considers KF a legit source let alone a friend.

I doubt null would be making the same decisions if he were raising a disabled child like Alicia is. That situation is ridiculously stressful. She seems like an incredibly agreeable person. Conflict is torture for those types, they usually blame themselves for everything. I wouldn't resign if I were her either, but it is somewhat understandable.

TLDR: Dr Hendley is a stay-at-home mom to a special-needs child, she has a Phd and used to work as a therapist. She still has her license but is not actively practicing. She's from the TERF set and engages on her Twitter with other Terfs and with JY/Moger. I don't think she has "misgendered" JY, and she also seemed sympathetic to JY's suicide threats and urged him to get help, but she is also highly critical of him and has posted tweets that roast him (such as tweeting to ask if she should wear a Santa hat or a Spongebob t-shirt to present to city council.) A courier has delivered a legal letter today and she tweeted that she is going to lay low while she talks to an attorney. Then she tweeted to say she will resign as a therapist. Current theory on KF is that:
- JY sent the legal threat
- He might have additional ammo against her apart from her public twitter feed, since apparently they exchanged DMs
