If he ever got that close to having his fast food trips taken away, he would tell the truth to whoever was interviewing him- that it is an act. Jon isn't crazy he is an asshole, he just says crazy-person type things when he wants something crazy people get. The ER probably tried whatever they could to steer things towards commitment, just to keep this asshole out of their hair for awhile. Sociopaths really do thrive on exploiting social programs and the vulnerable segments of society that rely on those programs. He is pretty textbook in a lot of ways.
I do have an anecdote about Committing Crazy Canadians, if anyone cares. Seems comparable to the UK where it is pretty easy to get a crazy person put in a hospital for awhile against their will.
I remember someone getting picked up by the cops and getting committed for what essentially boiled down to pestering others on the internet. I wish I remembered his name, but the guy was a canadian who would spam atheist blogs (like everyone on freethoughtblogs and its predecessor) with his weird rants about how atheists are wrong. He did this for a couple of years before anything happened. The cops took him to jail and a judge ordered him to go a mandatory, temporary psychiatric facility for awhile. He had severe bipolar and was manic + obsessive, but from what I understand he could speak coherently. In the USA you usually have to be incoherent to get stuck in the psych ward against your will, state laws that make it easier tend to be found unconstitutional in court at some point.
If dear leader's intel is true, maybe miriam is the one who is going to get put away eventually. After all jon technically lives alone, miriam lives with her sister. No one could put up with that forever.

Also, difficult to commit JY into a Psy Ward for more than a few hours unless a court order or two doctors sign JY in. JY was arrested by the Langley RCMP under the Mental Health Act from posts months ago but again difficult to commit a person against their will in Canada.

Miriam’s sister has to be crazy too. She’d have to be to tolerate this circus.
Any sane relative would put a stop to Miriam constantly calling ambulances and participating in her pervert son’s deranged public spectacles.
Dealing with mentally ill family can be very difficult, but I doubt the sister is much better than Miriam and Johnny. The only point in her favor is that, unlike Miriam, she hasn’t gone to the HRT, or the various council mtgs, that Johnny makes himself a laughing stock at.
I bet the Aunt and Johnny don’t get along. Everyone hates and despises Jonathan except his crazy mommy.

Small point to quibble with your otherwise excellent post:
Just arriving via ambulance does not fast track you ahead of others that came by private transport. Ambulance arrivals are still triaged and are often sent to the waiting room to wait like everyone else. It's highly entertaining to watch someone come by ambulance for some totally bullshit reason, flip out over the wait time and demand to leave... while demanding the hospital provide them with transport home.
I wonder how Tampon Jon gets home given that he rides ambulances like a subway and can't drive. Nowhere to fit the fat-ass cart on a blood bucket.
I know everyone here think in Canada you can just shoot up a school and yell “I’m trans!” as the police pull up, but it is worth bearing in mind that Yaniv has not provably committed any crime yet.
I don't think anyone here thinks that. I think by and large the problems people have with him are his very obvious paraphilia which threaten young children, his habitual and intentional abuse of an admittedly exploitable extralegal system for cash and petty vendettas, and his attempts to deflect and silence criticism thereof. No one believes troons are actually above the law in Canada*; that's half the reason why Yaniv won't take anything to a court, the other half being that he likely can't afford it.
*This is not to say that there are not groups lobbying on behalf/in the name of trans rights that aren't trying to (and succeeding at) fast-tracking changes to the law that disproportionately benefit them, but that's another can of hacked-off genitalia.
ETA: if trans people were really so demonstrably bulletproof in Canada an act of physical violence, or the imminent and explicit threat thereof, would be the only thing that'd stop Yaniv from harming a child. That I do believe.

I could be wrong, but from watching a fat Ontario cow (Chantal) who also invents medical symptoms for pity or to excuse behavior, I thought that Canadians had to pay out of pocket for non-emergency ambulance services?
Maybe it depends on the province? Chantal seemed concerned she’d have to pay for any ambulance ride. I got the impression that if Chantal called an ambulance for non-critical emergencies, like just needing a ride or exaggerating a non-critical medical issue, she would end up with a bill for it. Am I totally wrong about this?
I know Jonathan wouldn’t be abusing ambulance services like this if he actually had to pay for it. It’s amazing that they keep picking up this fat tard who’s calling them because he’s bored.
One of our leakers said that there was no ambulance at Johnny’s apt last night, so maybe he’s been flagged for abuse and goes over to mommy’s old person flat and she calls for him. Giving her behavior at the HRT she wants him in the hospital and monitored by doctors 24/7. She the only person dumb enough to believe Johnny’s having five or six strokes everyday.
But Miriam and John Boy wouldn’t do any of this if they had to pay one red cent of any of the medical costs. Scum bags like them love to abuse and exploit public services as much as possible.
Did Canada have an opioid epidemic like we did down here? How quickly do they prescribe abusable pills like ambien, xanax, etc? Have they moved to alternatives?
BC currently has one of the worst epidemics we’ve ever seen. Fentanyl has become the drug of choice but schedule 2 drugs are exceptionally hard to get your hands on around medical professionals. Given that Surrey/Langley has one of the largest homeless/drug addicted communities I suspect JY is laying it on hard to be able to get access to the drugs and maybe even creating some of their symptoms ala munchie with help from mom.

That's a good question. I was sure it would be a ride from mummy given her outbursts about her poor baby boy at the HRT. I expect her to shriek at the hospital staff about her special Johnny as well, but then I remembered the pics of the two of them on the train. Does his mother not drive or do they only take the train when they need the theatrics of the scooter because it can't fit in her car?
I disagree. There's plenty of evidence that he's harassed, intimidated and threatened several women and discriminated & posted hate speech against them. If nothing else, he should be dragged through the same fucking HRT he's abusing himself, only this time as a defendant, for what he's said and done to them. You could also make a reasonable argument that he's lied to the "court," assuming that's even a crime in that zoo in the first place, since he's made statements to the "member" that are directly contradicted by his own past statements.
That he's guilty of contempt of "court" is beyond doubt too, though the HRT appears to be utterly impotent in that regard.
It's only a matter of time before his ego swells up enough that he'll actually go commit a violent or sexual crime, probably against a helpless girl or teenager, and probably in a situation where some cucked idiots foolishly entrusted her safety to him.
Also, it's Canada. The same cucked country that literally paid a convicted terrorist (with a confirmed kill count) millions of (Canadian) dollars and set him free for some imagined "human rights" violation. Yaniv probably could go shoot up a school and plead "tranny" in court and walk away unscathed.
Happens because the addict goes through his stash way before he's cleared to get a new script. Doc doesn't believe he "lost" another bottle so suddenly he's cold-turkey. Then he has to either find a new source or have symptoms and hope the hospital will give him what he wants.
A few pages back, someone made a great post about ridiculous Canadian Human Rights tribunal decisions. But they forgot a really insane one that is probably the closest match to Yaniv:
Mamela v. Vancouver Lesbian Connection, in which a lesbian organization was fined $3000 for kicking out a man. Despite the fact that they didn't actually discriminate in the first place, but kicked him out for behaviour that included tons of over the top boundary violation.
The BC HRT decided in favour of this asshole way back in 1999. (The lesbian org basically dissolved, from what I can tell, or went underground. Not sure if the fine got paid.) I think the tribunal will decide in favour of Yaniv.
So at this point, it doesn't matter what rules someone breaks or how nice you are about enforcing the rules, if they are part of a magical Protected Class--even if you are too!--then your right to enforce even the most minimal boundary does not exist in Canada. Sounds great.

I wonder if dear old mom enables him in that as well if he is indeed pill popping. It seems right up her ally and I would assume hospital staff would be less suspicious of her until John became a frequent flyer.

Bullshit they did. “Why yes, Miss Yaniv, we’ll spare no effort to find out who didn’t actually commit a crime! How dare he take photos that prove you’re lying about your disability! And you say he’s some sort of nignog?”
Even if the police have the photo of the photographer, likely nothing will come of it. So many people get actually assaulted on the transit in BC, the police aren't likely to waste their time on looking for one person who took some pictures.
