This always strikes me as an easily self correcting problem.

Given past discussion of how Hindu/Sikh communities tend to be rather close-knit, one wonders if these communities have used their offline grapevines to spread the word about JY and encourage the waxers of their communities to preemptively ban, block, or otherwise avoid engagement with JY's known accounts. It might be illegal to discriminate on the basis of gender identity, but it should still be acceptable to boycott/avoid someone known to be a troublemaker that harbors anti-immigrant sentiments towards one's own ethnic group.

Since JY has too many sock accounts to use the equally valid catchall "We're too busy for new clients right now," this is probably the best way too deal with JY and make it clear the reason for refusal has nothing to do with being transgendered.

I'm sure JY would still try to complain to the BCHRT, but one optimistically hopes refusal of service due to negative reputation is an allowable response north of the border. After all, many Las Vegas brothels have legally refused service to Russell Greer after he harassed and disparaged their working girls.

Did you not read the HRT case that was posted and I summarized a few pages back? A private dyke club in Vancouver changed their membership rules to let a troon in. They dealt with his horrible behavior for 6 months before suspending his membership for 1 year. The HRT found in favor of the troon because club members said his behavior was "aggressive and mannish" during a conversation about why he was being suspended and they addressed the refund check to his LEGAL name, I presume so he wouldn't have trouble cashing it. That was enough to prove discrimination. The letter included with his refund check addressed him by his troon name, so they weren't purposefully calling him out. All of this happened 20 years ago.

They will get haled, is it haled if it's a legal proceeding that isn't in a court?, guaranteed. If they can prove they are aware of his behavior they might have a leg to stand on, but good fucking luck with Devyn as a member of the troonbunal.
