It's honestly because they are. The whole thing is such obvious bullshit but thanks to his tranny shield and the allowance of kangaroo courts, some poor women are likely ending up with a hefty fine they can't afford and/or will lose their business. In Canada publication bans can apply to other people involved in a case if knowing who they are will reveal the identity of the protected person.
For example a rapist who commits incest might be kept private because otherwise people will know who the victim is.
Edit: my apologies for a horrifying example, it was the first thing that came to mind because of a news story I read recently involving exactly this thing.
