Reading a little more into the article, it's not completely biased to Yaniv but it is more painting the whole thing as an attack against a trans woman (for example near the end there's a quote saying someone at the hearing referred to the rainbow flag as being similar to a swastika).

I think something similar, but IMO the origin of the trans thing was originally that he was LARPing as a teenage girl in order to perv on real teenage girls. Then he claimed to be trans when people noticed he was a man, then he realised that being trans put him in a “protected class.” The. The financial scam aspect kicked in.

Some will argue otherwise, but I honestly don't think he had any meaningful power.

I think he had people who misgendered him constantly - which is AGAINST THE RULES OF TWITTER. They ban you for misgendering people. That's all there is to it. No amount of being an angry 50 year old woman screaming about biological sex will change it. They'll ban anyone for doing it to anyone. Misgendering on twitter is literally clicking a "delete my account" button. Those ones were like shooting fish in barrels for Yaniv. The other stuff was simple cease and desist letters sent from legal shield services.

I think you're missing that it didn't used to be against the rules of Twitter. It wasn't when the whole Yaniv thing started. He was getting people pulled down for "harassment" or "violating a publication ban" or whatever other shit for talking about him at all, and then a little while into the controversy Twitter suddenly changed their rules to disallow misgendering/deadnaming and started banning feminists en masse for it. Wordpress did similar, they very transparently changed their rules to disallow misgendering in order to ban GenderTrender, who was at the forefront of naming and shaming Yaniv way before this whole thing blew up on other sites. Straight up, they banned her blog, and then later that same day added misgendering and deadnaming to their unacceptable behavior policy. She'd been doing both for years with other troons, but Jonathan Yaniv was the one that caused Wordpress to change their AUP.

Twitter was less blatant in their reasoning, but the timing was similar, and therefore suspicious as fuck. That's why people think Yaniv has some in or some blackmail or something. Because when this all started, he appeared to have an unprecedented amount of sway with the silicon valley censors.

However, the trans community also brought it on themselves because NONE of them are calling things for what they are. They are so afraid of being seen as 'pretending' to be trans that when they see an honest to god example, they go silent. They don't want to be seen as traitors.

But in their silence, it just makes it seem that they tolerate this behavior, which is worse than calling it out.

If only there was a troon mafia that exists somewhere that could give Yaniv a stern 'talking' to.

If someone is that concerned that people will think they'e a faker, it's probably because they know they're faking.

Yup, you’re right. The obsession with Cimirella band and that whole creepy scene he tried to RP started it.

I think he cottoned onto the waxing scam because he was just looking for ways to try and make women talk to him about his period fetish. It seemed to start with him asking questions about them waxing him “on his period” and then just morphed as he smelled money and extortion possibilities while pursuing his sick fetish.
