Reporting a fake assault in the ER is literally the easiest thing to do. They’re not going to ask a lot of questions or try to find holes in your story.

About the only possibility I can think of where she could be telling somewhat of the truth under oath is if young Jonny-boy was getting dry-cornholed once or twice a month from Daddy Yaniv and bleeding out the asshole from it.
While that is indeed the kind of thing that can completely fuck up a kid's gender identity and leave them with bizarre sexual fetishes about bleeding from 'down there', the fact that he had always presented as a normal man until suddenly he didn't means this is probably complete bullshit and Mama Yaniv is just batshit crazy mother, not a pedophilia enabling one.
On a less grim note, local Surrey newspapers are carrying the story now that the publication ban has been lifted. Unfortunately it only focusses on the fact of the lifting of the publication ban, but still excellent news. The Now is a free newspaper and a large percentage of the million-plus population of Surrey B.C. reads it.
