This prison is Grand Valley Institute in Ontario. In another Canadian prison (Fraser Valley in BC) there is a mother and baby unit, and inmates from this unit are being forced to share communal space with convicted pedophiles - according to former inmates. One of the male inmates in this prison (Adam Laboucan/Tara Desousa) was convicted of sexually assaulting a 3 month old baby and is a self admitted child murderer - Canada’s response was to move him to women’s prison with a mother and baby unit and pay for him to get breast implants. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Yaniv or any other pedo could have access to children in prison.

Because it doesn't really matter if Jonathan Yanivs are incredibly rare, if the ones that do exist are allowed to destroy lives and livelihoods for years before it even comes to a point of public shaming, much less any real consequences like fines/jail time.

Even if he's a one-in-a-million worst case scenario, the system needs to be built in a way that catches abusers faster and comes down harder, without the impediments to press coverage that made it possible for this to go so far without eing stopped.

I'm not entirely sure where I mis gendered her but it certainly wasn't intentional. I was aware she worked with him but didnt know it was for that long.

I stated my summation of the philosophers cited was greatly over simplified. while writing a more in depth expose regarding the changes from kierkegaard to Simone de Beauvoir would be interesting, it's far too much effort for a post regarding a troon that wants to put tampons up the coonch of adolescent's and the bastardization of my beloved existentialist school of thought that, one could argue, has directly lead to the formation of the most absurd Human Rights Council/feminist theory that enables said troon.
