The chances of him getting arrested go up with more victims reporting, particularly when they do it 1) in a timely manner; 2) when they live in the same jurisdiction; 3) when photos such as dick shots are shown. I'm not saying not having those things means no case, and I do believe all victims should report in any case. However, the more clear-cut and recent something is, and the fewer jurisdictions are involved, makes it easier and more compelling for authorities to act and do it faster.
Yaniv assumes he's just skating the edge on the legal side and has taken some "precautions" with at least some victims in the past. Like saying direct sexual things only as an anon in ask.fm and then directing victims to it ,or a couple days ago sending the moob shot but not a dick shot. The allegations that he sent dick shots are seven years old or more, and it hasn't been publicized that any of the recipients went to PD over explicitly that. More than likely, he's been asking victims where they're from to see if they're non-local. That's what I mean by skating. He's gotten away with it for 10 years now, so he thinks that will continue.
OTOH, we know there's an open investigation on him regarding Ashley Smith (who was called in by RCMP) and that Jessica Rumpel has also reported. We know in that same time frame, JY himself told the cops Aug 6 that he received child porn and that the cops had possession of his apartment for 20 hours. It's very plausible they are looking into that but an arrest takes more i's and t's dotted and crossed than the weapons charge.
So IDK when he'll get arrested on sex crimes either, but the more victims that report, the higher the likelihood.
