At first there was a LGBT organisation who were planning to host it (In Surrey* City), but it was cancelled after outrage from parents.

Then Jon took up the crusade and took it to the Township of Langley, in support of having it restarted and brought to one of his local pools.

"Self-described “LGBTQ advocate” and trans woman Jessica Yaniv was to present Monday night at Township of Langley Council on the need for an LGBTQ “all-bodies” swim where no parents are present; however, Council voted to postpone Yaniv’s delegation until September.

Yaniv’s delegation request to appear before council stated she was asking for:

“Permission for LGBTQ2S+ organizations to be allowed to host an ‘All-Bodies Swim’ at TOL [Township of Langley] civic pools…for people aged 12+ where these events will be restricted to LGBTQ2S and individuals will be permitted to be topless (at their leisure), in compliance with the laws of Canada and where parents and caretakers will be prohibited from attending these events as it’s considered safe and inclusive.”

Notably, Yaniv requests that 12 be set as the minimum age for participation in the ‘all-bodies’ swim, but does not give an upper age limit. The leaked conversations speak to as why he would demand to be there. "Topless" "12+" "parents and caretakers will be prohibited" sums up his interest in the event.

Put it this way would he have been speaking up if it were a swim-wear dressed family event?

I think posters have brought it up, taunting him. He mustn't have many young girls to perve on atm after the latest revelations so he's making the most of any attention on Twitter, to him even if bad it's better than nothing.

The original organizers set an age range of 12-24 on their event. Jessie is being very coy about stating that they dropped the upper age limit when taking up the cause after the original event was cancelled - allowing Jessie to attend, when they would have been banned from the original event.
