It's barely covering his nose/nostrils and doesn't go anywhere near his main chin.

John Southern's video of yaniv leaving court - no offence to anyone but this is a better quality vid all round.

yaniv has no trouble turning his head so will be interesting to see if he's claiming "whiplash".
miriam "you don't have to shout, go".

Must have missed a swimming session due to court. He'll be back down the gym today, fighting that anorexia no worries.

It's pushed in across the whole handle/license plate light. Look at the kinks in both upper corners. To me it looks like some kind of push bar did it.
Yeah...you may be right...I didn't see the divit on the drivers side...for push bar or similar it would have been a straight impact....Whatever it is, it's sure as hell not high speed impact.

Any word on any claims for this? accident reports etc.?

Is the whole dent in the shape of whatever the object was? Or is there a reinforced bar across the back of the trunk that crumpled in as designed?

I find it interesting that the sides are crushed, but there doesn't appear to be any damage in the center. And that the apparent shape of whatever the object was is coincidentally the shape of that piece of what appears to be trim along the back.

The argument against this is that I don't know what the object could have been that would tap that bar and just that bar.

Push bar as Iron Hamster said. A thousand designs.....most all follow the same theme...& they extend outward from the inside of the wheels...just like jonny's trunk lid is pushed in between the taillights

I once backed a sports car into a slightly lifted F150 in a parking lot. We were both backing up from our parking spots, didn't see each other, and my trunk lid kissed his rear bumper. The damage to my trunk lid looked basically identical to JY's damage. I hardly felt anything inside the car and the driver of the truck probably felt even less.

Borderline Personality Disorder. They're arguably worse than sociopaths or psychopaths in terms of how badly they fuck up and over anyone who has the misfortune to encounter them.

They are also HIGHLY resistant to therapy/change.

Pretty clear that Mama is having a harder time wrangling the tard she created. Her stress is visible here and in the texts with Sara. I'd have a modicum of compassion for her but I ran out of it yesterday.

From ye olde internette:

BPD is a pervasive pattern of instability in interpersonal relationships, self-image, and emotion, as well as marked impulsivity beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
  • Chronic feelings of emptiness
  • Emotional instability in reaction to day-to-day events (e.g., intense episodic sadness, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days)
  • Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment
  • Identity disturbance with markedly or persistently unstable self-image or sense of self
  • Impulsive behavior in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating)
  • Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights)
  • Pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by extremes between idealization and devaluation (also known as "splitting")
  • Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-harming behavior
  • Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms.

I've suspected this for a very long time, and it's interesting to have some confirmation.

The big tip off here is that Tranniv's friendships are rarely like, "Yeah, we hang out and watch the Leafs game."

It's always like I love you, you're a monster, I need you, I hate you, please have mercy on me, I'm too busy for you, you're a manipulator, I can't live without you.

Check out the chats with Sara and they follow maybe not this exact pattern but there's a lot of that really intense swinginess there.

LOL, BPD is the quintessential female mental illness. Yaniv probably chose it on that basis alone.

On an optimistic note, assuming the diagnosis is not complete horseshit, BPD sufferers an hero at rates so high most therapists won't touch them as clients. Liability risk is too high.

A psych nurse I know said she'd rather have a psychotic raving meth head than a BPD any day. Gotta document every breathe they both take when treating them.

The end Miriam's life will be miserable. As she's aging, going deaf and with her own health issues, she's gotta try and mitigate her tard's lunacy. When she's dies and Johnny is broke and homeless, if he doesn't end up dead or in jail, he'll be just like Tommy. What a legacy Johnny!!

he has been diagnosed with BPD.

Doesn't surprise me.

Yup, I have experience of a different PD (not borderline thank god) and honestly it's basically like Bipolar but with the mania and depressive phases being way more frequent. PDs are also difficult to treat, you can make them manageable using Dialetical behavioural therapy but even then it will still be a problem. It is frequently seen as the Crazy Ex Girlfriend/ Stalker condition.

He has displayed some of the traits, he is obviously unstable, seems to constantly want attention (i.e Bomb hoaxes, constantly crying wolf), is obsessive (tampons), clearly manipulative (his gaslighting of "sara" is a prime example when he threatens to kill himself when "Sara" calls him out) and displays stalker like behaviour (like the time he flew to Toronto to perv on "Sara" despite being told not to, oh and when he showed up at Cimorelli's place years ago unannounced) . Also his version of events is radically different from reality.

The others like Avoidant (basically extreme anxiety that leads to you avoiding everything) or Obsessive Personality Disorder are way easier to treat since the patients are generally stable, BPD isn't!

I honestly think he has BPD, he may also ave antisocial personality disorder.

He's definitely got a Cluster B personality disorder, it's just a matter which. And with diagnosis of one disorder, there's a good chance of overlapping symptoms of another, but not enough for a plural diagnosis. I'm honestly swayed by the BPD diagnosis, and happy to accept it.

The farmers who guessed borderline personality disorder in the JY mental health thread can pat themselves on the back for their outstanding psychological deductions. I was leaning towards a more milquetoast manic depression.

Hmm I do wonder if he may actually have sociopathy, ok he defiantly has enough to diagnose him with a PD but in reality some of his more infamous behaviours (like harassing underage girls, stalking in woman's bathrooms, the taser) are more into being a sociopath. He doesn't get that his behaviour is downright wrong and normal people just don't act that way

Which is why many psychiatrists are reluctant to diagnose people with it. The fact that Yaniv got that diagnoses meant that the psychiatrist was 100 percent certain that he has it. Either that or they found Jon so insufferable that they slapped the BPD label on him just to get him out of their office.
