I also believe it's not getting the exercise it needs. A walk for a young Lab is nothing, are there any trips to the Dog park so it can be cut loose & run? I doubt it.
I can't help but think he's physically abusing it, someone hurts him, he hurts the Dog
Kinda personal with me, I have 3 Dogs here at present, all rescues.
I think more of Dogs than most humans & if anything needs to be put to sleep it's our boy.
I'm praying in a couple months the Dog will be gone & in a good home. I mean how long did scooty puff last?
It's like his life has all these different acts, he plays a role until it's not fun anymore & then starts another act.
His future now tho will all be acts without his knob. I don't believe he thought out the surgery much. Just like everything in his life, all on impulse.

In 3-6 months he will have grown tired of the dog and will return it to the place he got it.

In 3 months he will have gotten tired of the puppy and it will still be completely untrained and likely shitting on the living room carpet, because there has been no training.

As Jonathan lost interest in the puppy and Miriam probably no longer want to take care of it they will hand the puppy to a shelter, and then it will be put down.
No one wants to adopt a 6-9-12 month old dog that is still feral and shits on the carpet every chance it gets.
