That's their selling point. The awkwardness is what sells these shows. I wouldn't even know of these shows, & their other branches beforehand if it weren't for PewDiePie.

One thing that Jon didn't show in the video is that when Samantha (the Mitsuri Kanroji cosplay girl) was asked her preference in the video, she said "Asian", so she's not better either, but might be even worse.

First series seems legit, especially fat women who over estimate who they can get. Second series first episode feels very fake with overly caricature jerk. Especially when you can hear fatness from the voice, or just talk about subjects like working out. It also seems counter productive when he makes himself clear he doesn't want fatties, so why even test in the most disgusting way possible? It's not that those people don't exist, but he seems like a mash of different extremes.

Only thing he could do better was put the Demon Slayer OP song when the fat cosplayer got rejected, it makes a good "How could this happen to me?" song.

Such a nice treat! Call me simple minded, but I loved all of the Banko segment and the animaniacs punchline got a strong laugh out of me. Well that and the dude punching the seagul bit and the Vignesh bobs joke.

The greatest anime betrayal moment with Kimetsu No Fatfuck was utterly fucking savage (and Jon was right, he didn't feel bad about it, nor should he), I don't think I'd be a fraction as brutal as that guy with the hug ploy.

The whole Joey section aside from the skits was honestly the weakest since it's standard dating show scumbag getting hoisted from his own pettard and that's assuming he wasn't just playing a role.

I hope part2 has one of my favorite dating show tropes, "he's nice but too short". Oh, and dead egger strong independant wamen that's desperate to not die alone.

My sentiments exactly. Which is why I love the Gamer Compound video so much, you can't help but laugh hysterically at the delusional mindset of the people in that.
 
Haven't seen it yet, but I'm wondering if he'll include any clips from that Dating on the Spectrum show in the second part or if that's going too far in current year. You want to talk about awkward and uncomfortable, nothing makes me squirm more than watching two speds talk like Oblivion NPCs to each other under the guise of flirting.
