Assuming 9chan becomes kill if Null kills the farms (I didn't read his entire essay), theres Zchan, 8chan.se (formerly .moe), and even Julay World just for the hell of it. Just don't go to 8kun, it's compromised as fuck.

Personally I think image boards as a whole has been nothing but a huge dumpster fire ever since 8ch's death.

For around the first year, I was on this site, I did that. This was my main source of info for political news and shit, mostly through the TDS thread. I soon realized afterward that filling yourself with that news makes you a boring person because it consumes your mind. It's all you can think about. You can barely talk about yourself without having to mention all the information you have consumed and how much the media misinterprets info and how whenever you hear that info regurgitated by a person irl, you get so unnecessarily angry inside when you don't need to. It's recommended that you just take the redpill of life and come to terms with the fact that humanity is filled with normies and normies are dumb and they'll believe anything. You just gotta laugh at them whenever it is convenient not obsess over them through the consumption of information, it's not healthy.

God yes, especially with all the crazy shit going on in the world right now. At some point, you gotta just let things go and just move on with your life the best you can. At the end of the day, you gotta realize with a lot of stuff, there's nothing much you can do. And frankly, I think that's okay.

I'm here because in my opinion, the best way to learn what's actually going on in the world is to ask the freaks and weirdos such at myself because they're less likely to simply parrot what their peers and the media tell them. Long ago that used to be reddit, but they're almost as normie as Twitter at this point. This place feels more like the chans circa 2005 but with less porn.

If it shut down I'd just have to find another place that's populated by outcasts. The hard part is finding outcasts that aren't such pariahs that they go insane, e.g. Voat.

I think he might have entered a sort of quarter-life crisis, one heavily bought-into notion of thinking that one needs to be wed 'n' bred by a certain age or one is a failure at adult life. I think that is fueling his depression and existential crisis. This will eventually pass, but he's gonna be doing some hard soul searching while he goes through it.
