Mr. Based and Josh's relationship feels like an almost 1:1 parallel of Lancaster Dodd and Freddie Quell in the movie "The Master", minus the Scientology/cult aspect. Mr. Based encourages Josh to get into trouble and subtly manipulates him, then he gets overprotective of him when he faces resistance and bodily harm for the things hes enabled and encouraged. Its only a matter of time before they both get arrested and an exchange like this happens between Mr. Based, Josh, and the cops.

Josh in a cab ride ride after his most recent freak out is now realizing that he would be better off getting a real job and quitting tiktok... He may be breaking free of the lolcow matrix.... Unfortunately I bet he will be right back in it tomorrow.
He's not doing anything without detoxing first.

How is there NOT like... a half dozen videos of this guy getting slapped or punched on the street because he pulled too much aggro on a stranger?
Because he doesn't go to the really shitty parts of NYC and people in NYC are used to schizos like that roving the streets, they know they can just ignore him and he'll stop/go harass someone else/start hurting himself. Better than having to fight a malicious battery case for straightarming him into a telephone pole for kicking you in the shin.

In last night's stream around the 8:30 mark (unavailable in the U.S. because Mr. Based is an idiot and got it copyright claimed), Josh expressed a desire to get a forehead tattoo and when Mr. Based tried to discourage him, he started talking about getting an Indian red dot instead. I plan to clip it later and never want this summer to end.

I can't tell what's more funny, that he's unironically considering working in fast food, or that he legitimately thinks his captain's hat and piss-stained Gucci belt are worth money.

Mr Based sounds like he's losing more patience with Josh lately
He's probably realizing that being a full-time tard wrangler for good money is a huge compromise. I caught autism doing this math so nobody else has to. I watched the entire Coney Island stream to extrapolate these numbers.

Mr. Based made $2,735 in 4:18:28 with an outlier $100 donation. Discarding the outlier, for 258.47 minutes of streaming, this is $10.20 per minute of "work," which mostly involves getting high and filming a retard pick his nose, taste his own earwax, play on his phone, and occasionally sperg out and bite his hand.

The average duration of the last 5 streams still published is 8,813.6 seconds or 146.89 minutes each. This works out to about $1,498.28 per stream. Assuming 260 work days per year, though in reality they seem to "work" all 365 days, this amounts to $389,552.80 gross income per year for Mr. Based.

Taking Josh's word that he "only makes $60,000 per year," and assuming all his income comes from Mr. Based, the pimp still clears $329,552.80 before taxes. This puts him in the 35% tax bracket, so after taxes, his net income is a cool $214,209.32 annually.

I didn't factor in operating costs like paying for Josh to be a homeless alcoholic, but apparently hotels in NYC cost $301 per night on average [a], so he's essentially paying $109,865 annually for easy access to Josh to make this scam work.

This seems to be why he's so keen to get Josh into his apartment building, it takes a huge cut of the profit and is the difference between continuing this nonsense and getting a normal six-figure salary job as a product manager or whatever.

The average studio rent in East Village is $3,150 [a], cutting down the business expense of housing Josh to only $37,800 per year. Take these numbers with a grain of salt, as I'm assuming things like a criminal paying taxes and such. It's safe to say that Mr. Based most likely nets a quarter mill off his grift, given conservative estimates.
