After hearing about this dude I feel like there's a lot to unpack here. He seems to really embody that meme where two people say "I consent" and he's saying "I don't", as if other people's lives directly affect him personally.

As other people have said in this thread, his greatest problem is himself. He won't let himself be happy because he self sabotages by making the conditions that would allow him to be happy unobtainable. The world is never going to actually cater to the way he thinks and Asian girls are never going to date him not because he's not white, but because he's so fixated on making comics about his insecurities. And made his insecurities his entire identity.

The truth is you can never really change society the way society thinks or the world as a whole, but you can improve your personal circumstances in your own life. I've seen second generation Asian guys with Asian wives before, hell I've even seen Asian guys with white wives before. For as many faults that Arthur Chu has even he managed to marry an actual woman outside of his own race.

I think one of the issues is that Americans don't have a strong sense of unity and heritage. I've seen and heard awhile back from foreigners wondering why Americans are so proud and adamant of their foreign ancestry. For example, how a person claimed their 100% Irish and they're "Irish" American. And how proud they were being Irish and a minority, etc etc. Yet, their family immigrated over 100 years ago and said person had lived in America their entire life who doesn't even practice or partake in any Irish customs. Which, to someone from Ireland and the latter, it blew their mind and had them confused because he saw that said person as some white American trash.

This, in my opinion, leads me to believe that these days some Americans lack a sense of belonging because America is built upon immigrants. We lack traditions, customs, and our culture is young and diverse due to the former. So its hard to be united outside of "we're all Americans who believe in personal freedom, etc." While at the same time, with Luna for example. They feel ostracized and disconnected with their ancestral roots. This feeds into their insecurities and when compounded with the faggotry of "America bad, racism everywhere, diversity is our strength". You get stupid shit like this in America since they can't come to terms with who they are. So they either go in ti bitch about it non-stop, or go join the cult of racism, communism, troonism, or the LGBT so they can pretend they have an identity and can feel like they belong in a united community.
