In the Red3blog thread, it was shown that he got trolled hard by this guy. People were starting to wonder why there wasn't any thread on him before. Sure, he's got an ED page that kinda goes into the basics of how extensive and far back his trolling goes, but even that kinda falls short in several ways and doesn't nearly cover the full extent of everything he did since he was about 12! That's how long he's been at this. There are accounts of his dating all the way back to 2007 and I was able to work together with @Hellfire to try to uncover as many of his previous alts and names as we could.

He has trolled countless websites and forums like Wrong Planet, Wikipedia, Tezuka in English, the Astroboy forums, Criterion Forum, Uncyclopedia (where they thought he was so autistic he got banned from there), and so many others. The Adult Swim forum was one of his biggest playgrounds for him and he did a ton of his trolling on there too. I'm going to add links to the rest at the end of the thread OP because it was so much that you could find through Google that it's too much to mention in just one paragraph. He would often troll under usernames like Metropolisforever and MoonMetropolis. There's a whole lot more you can find if you search deep enough.

With this kind of cow, you have to start from the beginning to understand just how far this goes back. Hellfire told me that he must have had at least 20 different sock accounts on Wikipedia when he was still active there and stirring shit. It's only fitting that they have a page on Goldberg themselves which actually does decent work in covering some of his previous online activity. He also told me this in the infodump:

On reddit he is confirmed as at least 4 accounts and would use them to combo troll, like account A is a neo-Nazi and then account B reports what A said to the SJW subreddits. He did this on Twitter as well.

He has numerous twitters, some of which were impersonating people and trying to incite violence against them. He also liked to impersonate his trolling victims, one of his jihadi twitters used Ben Garrison's name as the email addy. The jihadi accounts kept getting shut down and he had like 5 of those.

Overall, across all websites, I'd guesstimate he's easily used 100+ socks.

Goldberg was arrested by the FBI after being identified as Australi Witness on September 9, 2015. After a raid on his home by the FBI, Goldberg allegedly admitted to agents that he had distributed the information about making the bomb in Kansas City.[20] Goldberg appeared in court on September 15, where he was ordered to undergo a 30-day mental health evaluation to determine his fitness to stand trial. If tried and convicted, Goldberg faces 20 years in prison.[29]

On December 14, 2015, a judge ruled Goldberg mentally incompetent to stand trial and Goldberg was ordered to be held for psychiatric treatment for four months.[30][31][32]

If you read part of that article, you'll see that he was also responsible for running The Philosophy of Rape subreddit, which had a thread in the Loveshy Therapy Center. That was one of the biggest facts that caught my attention and wanting to get a thread up on this guy. What he did there really attracted some of the crazies who actually believe that rape is ethical.

He was big news on Reddit several months ago, as you can see from the following link and there were apparently threads on 8chan and /pol/ about Goldberg that I'm still trying to uncover.

At that time, I was under ruthless attack by the entity behind this page--and I repeatedly filed claim forms with Facebook to get such material removed.

She hadn't seen Goldberg since the family moved to Orange Park and hadn't heard about him until the news broke that FBI agents claim he encouraging others to take part in violent ISIS-style terrorist attacks on American and Australian soil.

"It is so crazy," Goldberg's former neighbor and friend said. "Someone I have known my whole life."

There was a 2010 call for service to the Clay County Sheriff's Office from the Goldberg's home. According to records, Frank Goldberg, Joshua's father, told deputies his son was severely depressed and sniffing inhalants.

It's sad that this guy is no longer around and the thread will be hard-pressed to generate content.

The existence of a guy like this, though, does raise questions about what it is to be a troll and whether acting as this guy acted, with all these multiple identities, actually leads to some kind of personality disintegration, or whether he was insane in the first place.

It's hard to believe someone who passed this well as so many things is actually incompetent to stand trial mentally, though. I think they are just covering all their bases and making sure he doesn't have an appeal avenue based on having stood trial while being insane.

(Note: the legal standard for being sane enough to stand trial and the standard for being not guilty by reason of insanity are very different.)

(Also, I should note that I don't think Andrew "weev" Auernheimer is a "convicted criminal" any more as his conviction was vacated because it was bullshit in the first place. One of the biggest losses in the world of Joshua Goldberg was the Adult Swim forums fucking up their old forums including Goldberg's 12+ accounts and their years of history. I don't know if there are any archives of this trove of info (it had all been there for years, who would have thought AS would nuke their forums), but it was an insightful look into who Goldberg was as this might as well have been a journal for him and you could at times verify that a sock account was his as you'd see him talking about it at AS.

Goldberg was very open on these forums (particularly a shitposting subforum called Incoherent Babbling which he had joined a Steam and Facebook group for) and revealed a lot of intimate details including that his favorite hentai was Night Shift Nurses and he enjoyed hentai with coprophilia (he claimed it was "nasteh" in real life), that he was smoking weed and needed to find a new dealer when his family moved, he felt sex was disgusting and considered himself asexual, he revealed his birthday (May 14, 1995), and he complained about not being old enough to enter a Burger King contest (he was 14). If you wanted to know the real Goldberg, it was buried here amongst tens of thousands of shitposts.

Goldberg also had some weird fixation on the 9/11 terrorist attacks and repeatedly joked about it. There was a 9/11 topic he started years ago and he would keep going back to it on his new accounts/socks on September 11th.

Goldberg was also really into IMDb and had several accounts there. In some of his adultswim posts he revealed that he got his first account set up by having someone on /b/ use their cellphone to get him the activation code. He later had an adultswim poster do the same for him.

If any sleuths can track down some of his sock armies there will be some content, the milk may be a bit old but still has flavor.

For instance, there's a decade worth of things on Wikipedia and he was spewing salt like a volcano whenever he came into conflicts. He would at times edit about his trolling adventures, and would watch the chans and counter-troll them if they were doing something on Wikipedia; when /pol/ staged a Ben Garrison editathon Goldberg was reverting them.

Using this argument, wouldn't it therefore be necessary to include a source next to every single show listed in the article? Also, please do not leave passive-aggressive messages threatening to have me blocked. As you explore Golberg's identified trolling you'll notice he had some kind of fixation on Australia. For example, the persona that got him arrested was an Australian jihadist through which he was trying to get Mohammedans to go shoot up Australian synagogues. He also attempted to get various Australians attacked by impersonating them on social media and then using his jihadist account to dox them. What could have caused this obsession with Down Under? Perhaps it was an encounter with an Australian Wikipedia administrator named Netsnipe who appears to have banned the preteen Goldberg many years ago.
