I played Freedom Planet and while the game characters reminded me of horrid Sonic OCs, the game was fun and well made and reminded me of the great Sega Genesis games like Sonic and the Treasure games. This kid must be too autistic to have fun or he is probably jealous that his game can never be good as Freedom Planet.

Wow, what a clusterfuck. A lot of the graphics even look torn up. Dude, if you're gonna steal another game's assets, don't fuck them up into something unidentifiable.

The stages look like someone had a seizure while making the stage, then said to themselves, "Ah, yes, this is quality material. My work here is done," before sperging out more.

It looks like half the assets are just stock photos from real life cities with brightness/shading changes to make them seem more comicky..
Watched through his "release" video. Wow, such ripping.. Even the first sound you hear on start is a distortion of the old Sega start sound..
Every action and animation is pure sonic..the sound effects all appear ripped from oldschool sonic, as does the music, including the old collect-golden-ring blip sound.
Oh and he appears to have no idea how to imageshack link..that link auto-redirects to the home page.

Sorry to cut this short, but I can't play this. No sooner did I start to play this, my virus scanner detected a possible threat and successfully moved it to quarantine. It's practically for the better. The game is unplayable, the graphics are a mish-mish of nonsense, there was no music in the 30 seconds I played it, the level design is absolute nonsense, honestly I could do a list of issues with this piece of crap if I played it for longer.

I can't risk anything happening to the computer. I'm working on getting a new one at some point, but until then, I need to take care of this one. Someone else will need to do the dirty work. I was even iffy on downloading it for the reason of possible malware, so when Bitdefender quarantined it after detection, I wasn't surprised. Be careful if you choose to download this file and make sure your malware/spyware and virus scanners are up to date.

Now I need to go play Freedom Planet and wait for the inevitable sequel that'll come out.

Hmmm, interesting. It's probably just incredibly poor scripting/coding that triggered it, but either way better to be safe. I might power up my really old laptop later today (don't really care what happens to it, it's about 7-8 years old) and try running it on that.

I'm not sure if it's a false positive, but like I said, it's not worth the effort.
