Yeah, Sweden gave up on trying to extradite him. Although, the US is still in the race to grab him with the Britfags. And what are SJWs saying?

Good example of how SJWs are sometimes contradictory to progressivism. The progressive stance would be to support people who risk their lives for the sake of transparency, truth, exposing government corruption and the brutalities of US empire.
 
Assange was a hero when he was exposing W. But when he exposed the DNC, Podesta, the NSA programs and Hillary... REEEEEEE HE'S A RAPIST, FACIST BASTARD.
 
Assange could have easily avoided the sjw outrage by turning tranny like Bradley MANning. Come on, this is Privilege Theory 101 stuff!

The behavior described wouldn't be considered rape in any country but Sweden, and frankly, I strongly suspect you couldn't even get a conviction in Sweden, at least not as rape. It could arguably be some other form of criminal behavior and at the very least was genuinely scummy behavior, but without a tremendous amount of political pressure, there would never have been a criminal case about this.

The whole thing reeked of politics. Assange flat out told the police supposedly investigating this that he was leaving the country, and rather than arrest him right then and there, as they would have had they had a real case, they wait until he's long gone and only then suddenly are interested in making him a fugitive, because like hell he's going back for that bullshit.

It was a transparent ruse to get him somewhere that would extradite him to the U.S.
 
Julian did nothing wrong he was a good boy he cleaned the embassy supported Donald Trump embraced the meme.
 
Ironically, Anthony Weiner just plead guilty to sexting a minor. And there's evidence that his wife and Hillary knew about it during the campaign and didn't say anything about it.

If this blows up it will be a pretty interesting contrast and very embarrassing for the people reeeeeing about Assang right now.

There's a reason old-school progressives keep trying to force the label "regressives" onto these people. Teddy Roosevelt is spinning in his grave looking at what modern progressives are doing to the movement he started.
 
So what exactly is the evidence he raped someone? All I can find is that he was accused of rape by two women he apparently had sex with, both of whom said it "became" rape half-way through.
 
The conspiracy theory is the Sweden case was just a front to extradite him to the US for trial.

There is none, some people think they were bribed because it is very politically desirable to the powers that be to get Julian in a position where he could be extradited to the United States.

iirc one of the charges was Assange removing/tearing up a condom mid-fuck: which is a really shitty thing to do and should perhaps have some legal consequences (because it can result in unwanted pregnancy, infecting someone with something unpleasant or with something deadly at worst) but it definitely doesn't sound like rape.

He broke or otherwise rendered the condom useless after they had agreed to sex with a condom. This is certainly something incredibly scummy that should be some sort of crime, but rape isn't that crime. Apparently not even in Sweden.

The United Cuckdom still has a warrant on him for failure to appear in court. They seriously need to go fuck themselves, too.
