What baffles me is Chris, given the opportunity to either burn his medallion or shove it up his ass, he decides it's a better idea to shove it up, I mean I don't even
He could've even chosen to walk away from it...

Without BlueSpike, we wouldn't have the insight we do into Chris' twisted sexual fetishes. Is that good, or bad?

The Julie stuff was Chris' cartoon logic in action: the hero enduring and triumphing over the evil villain. Still, I am amazed he went as far along with BlueSpike's requests as he did.

I dunno, PandaHalo also found out about Chris' bizarre sexual fetishes, and she wasn't half as disturbing as Bluespike was.

Regarding the whole "children are bastards" thing, they are bastards. I can't source it (mainly because I'm too lazy to google it.. But I've seen it on some show) but I've heard that the majority of kids below the age of 13 would fall under the criteria for sociopathy. This is why they put off diagnosing people until they're in adolescence.

But this doesn't apply to BlueSpike, he was 15 at the time.

However he had to deal with Chris for a very long time. He had to deal with fucking phone sex / cyber sex. He had to pretend to care about whatever bollocks Chris was rambling about. Can you imagine all the frustration going through his head? Doesn't surprise me he broke, and it was an interesting saga.

It's interesting that you say that, because I remember Emily saying that, after the Emily date when she occasionally spent time with Chris under a new identity (not wearing a hat or glasses BTW), she stopped hanging with Chris IRL and stopped talking with him for a bit because he was just that unpleasant to be around. She soon found that she was getting short with people over things that'd have never bothered her before. I think she once admitted to hitting a friend who stress sighed to her.

So indeed, how much if it is Chris' trolls being sadists and how much of it is Chris bringing out the worst in people?

Well, speaking of the saga as a whole, the thing that bothers me isn't the medallion in the anus (which seems to piss off a lot of people), it's the trip to Cleveland.

Never before or since had Chris been trolled into doing something that could have gotten him seriously hurt or killed. Not only did his impromptu trip involve a mental defective driving hundreds of miles on unfamiliar interstate highways, which would be bad enough, but depending on which neighborhood he was sent to, he ran a very real risk of getting robbed / beaten / carjacked. Yes, Son-Chu (the vehicle) might not be a tempting target, but the fat clown-shirted guy with a Sonichu medallion hanging off his neck is about as tempting a target as you'll get.

Part of what drives my opinion on this is that I've been to Cleveland. It's got some pretty ghetto places where I wouldn't want to set foot for any reason.

Now then, were it not for Bluespike doing his thing, Chris wouldn't have banged the love doll, and I'd have missed out on at least a dozen opportunities to gross out and/or amuse my friends with the video over the years, not to mention my username and avatar.

Why did he specifically send him to Cleveland?

I think it was just already established that "Julie" lived there.
No Julie "lived" in Molvanîa

Julie was staying with Max in Cleveland, and was holding her hostage.

I don't know why BlueSpike did it though. Or if it was even originally BlueSpike's idea. I think he did have a couple people advising him (they were also the ones telling him to stop when he got too far)

I had totally forgotten about that part of the saga and it was some dodgy ghetto area as well wasn't it?

Some old black lady answered the door. I woulda fucking loved to see that.

Pretty much this.
IIRC in one of the chats, Chris is really pushy with Julie about coming to visit him, so Julie basically pulled an "if you love me so much why can't you come to me". Then Julie was held hostage or some shit by Max, so Chris could no longer drag his feet in going to Ohio. What truly amazes me is how little cash Chris left with. How (for the lack of a better word) naive.

Chris didn't have a GPS navigator in Son-Chu, did he? Driving to this location just by reading road maps probably pushed OPLs mental capacities... Maybe we should actually give him some respect for that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm shocked he made it there and back alive. Did someone say he also locked himself out of his car at a toll? Wtf was he doing?

Maybe he got a mapquest?

Yep, he used mapquest.

[5:21:14 PM] Christopher C.W.C.: I'm all set; I have a road map for Eastern USA, directions To Julie and From from mapquest.
[5:21:49 PM] Christopher C.W.C.: I have set aside six changes of clothes, I'm bringing my cell, PSP and DS with AC adaptors.
[5:22:03 PM] Christopher C.W.C.: it's only a 7 hour drive.

Also, apparently God, Jesus and the spirits of his dead ancestors were all fully supportive of Christard's Quest for Julay. What could possibly go wrong?

Too bad they couldn't save him from locking his keys in the car.

Personally, I wouldn't have. Sure, it sounds funny, but Chris could have gotten himself killed if he said the wrong thing. (I know it was an old black lady, but he was in the ghetto part of town.) It was the first time he went outside of Virginia by himself. He had no friends there. He's also more than a little dull-witted and naive.

I don't know. GodJesus must have been watching his back.

"I'm bringing my cell, PSP and DS with AC adaptors."

Oh for fuck sake. You're travelling hundreds of miles to rescue your true love, and you still have to take two portable gaming devices?

Anyway, yes the trip to Cleveland was morally wrong, and he shouldn't have done it, etc. But the whole thing is too darn funny for me to really care. I wish he'd had to drive to Vegas.
