Specially when he believes he's still 13...Saney said:It always gets me when Chris criticises Bluespike for not having a job. Hypocrisy at its absolute finest.pickleniggo said:Null said:Bump...

Watched this video. He doesn't seem really distressed. Any thoughts?

The face he makes here always cracks me up. Also, the fact that he claims BlueSpike is "at least 13 years old" almost three full years after the Julie Saga, the fact that he scoffs at BlueSpike "not having a job" at the alleged tender age of 13, and his dramatic gestures whilst discrediting Aspergers. So ridiculous.
Of course he's not distressed. Remember, he thinks he's exacting his revenge here, so he's probably feeling very good about himself. I also don't know if Chris is capable of exhibiting shame - no (genuine) instances of him doing so come to mind at least.
This post excellently expresses my feelings on the subject. The demonization of Bluespike comes across as silly and childish. It wreaks of the uninformed and uneducated thinking their opinion should matter.Daddy Fantastic said:I think that audio has one of the best examples of Chris expecting life to be just like TV and movies, and I've never seen anyone comment on it.
As you know, he was given the choice of getting Julie or his PSN account returned and at one point he says something along the lines of "I picked Julie, I picked the right choice, gimme back my PSN!"
Just like in many children's stories where the hero is faced with some kind of moral decision, usually between saving someone or a more selfish reward (like riches or power), if the hero picks the morally correct choice, they also receive the benefit of the selfish choice; Chris seemed to actually believe that by saving Julie, he would also get his PSN back, because saving Julie is the morally correct choice.
I don't think even Blue Spike thought it would go as far as it did. Remember, he gave Chris the choice between burning the medallion and sticking it up his ass. There's no way he could have known Chris would choose sticking it up his ass over burning it. Even for Chris that's pretty insane. I think once he realised how much control he really had over Chris, he didn't know when to stop. I don't think he should be demonized the way he is. At the end of the day, he was just a stupid kid with too much power. That's a recipe for disaster no matter who it is.
As a couple of other people have mentioned, I get the feeling that, on some level, he already knew Julie was fake. The way he says "Let me guess? You were Max the whole time" makes it sound like he wasn't even remotely surprised and was just going along with it in the hopes that he was wrong and she actually was real.
What gets me is the insistence that Blue got sexually aroused by doing this shit to Chris. That's just silly as well as a bit creepy that people thing of Bluespike like that. The truth is, it was less sexual desire fueling him as much as it was the high of having the last lolcow 100% at his mercy.wheat pasta said:Really, he just wanted to impress those older, cooler people, but didn't know when to stop running his mouth. It's a common problem with kids that age.
Also, to the people who hate children.. really? Middle school/junior high kids I can understand hating, because they're terribly bratty, but little kids? You cray.
Which would be kinda like the psychology of rapist, I really have issue with what was done it was really for lack of a better word sickXanatos said:What gets me is the insistence that Blue got sexually aroused by doing this shit to Chris. I apologize for not having the same opinion as youwheat pasta said:Also, to the people who hate children.. really? Middle school/junior high kids I can understand hating, because they're terribly bratty, but little kids? You cray.
