Sonichu is so pure and noble, the embodiment of all that is to be desired, he even helps out around at home and in town. So by all means lets insult his dignity by putting a price on these Crayola fuckin model magic effigies I'm churning out.

His love-hate relationship with Sonic is interesting. While he's always loved Sonic like a brother, he nevertheless invented Sonichu. He abandoned his Pokemon website for his Sonichu website. Now he's trying to persuade Sonic's fanbase to abandon their hero in favor of the superior Sonichu. He's angry that people continue to idolize Sonic when Sega is fucking him over. This is somewhat reminiscent of his belief in a Pokemon-Harry Potter rivalry.

Edit: Now I wonder if the reason why he created Sonichu in the first place was jealousy of Sonic. He wanted to infuse Sonic's positive qualities into himself, and the way to do this was through Sonichu. Jealousy is one of the only emotions he's capable of, after all.

Also, it's mind-boggling that Chris still thinks his celebrity is based on his nobility and other positive qualities. Today he's decided that he has fans; tomorrow he'll decide that they're all trolls.

I guess his perception of reality hasn't changed when it comes to Sonichu. Sonichu is boring not just because he's a Sonic recolor but he has no flaws in his personality. I like how Kim Wilson nailed the fact that you can like a fictional character without being friends with it.
