winning the lottery isn't a feasible prospect for your future wealth, chris.

Thanks, Chris! I did enjoy my lesson.

If success is just a random draw, that poor tomgirl has had some shitty luck over the years.

Heh, no Chris, that's not how prospects work.

And who's Worthless? Because I fucking hate Coke Zero so that means I can't be Null!

Cool, I didn't feel like cropping a screencap.

No, Chris, not everyone has the same prospects. Not even as babies.

A person with a job has much better prospects than an unemployed person. A guy who bathes and wears deodorant has better prospects than a manchild dressing like a 15 year old child whore. Even not pointing out your deficiencies, prospects differ based on personal interests as well. You don't want a job, while someone else does, and they then have to weigh their prospects separate of yours.

If everyone had the same prospects, the term would not exist.

That came out of nowhere. Did Catie at some point ask him about what his prospects were and it just now caught up to him?

I was wondering if Chris was ever plagued by thoughts of his future and the realization that his launchpad to success or even adequacy was flimsy and getting flimsier all of the time.

Turns out that the answer to that question is yes, but like most people Chris assuages his fears by going 'I haven't made it yet, but since everyone has an equal chance of success I don't have to worry about my position. No matter what happens today, there's always a bright new chance tomorrow!' Poor, stupid bastard.

New drinking game: Every time you hear "Prosspets" in your head, take a shot of Jager.

He's being a little more cryptic this time around, he seems to be dwelling on past events before his next big feat of being Chris.

Here's a stupid theory. Shared content seems to be getting a lot more popular on FB these days, specifically long-winded "deep" statuses. Maybe this is Chris' attempt at trying to mimic what he sees, and gain popularity?

Every time I hear the word prospects (and similar words such as leads) I imagine Alec Baldwin staring down at me like I'm the biggest piece of shit in the world. Unlike Chris, I don't associate that word with imminent success; I associate that word with lifelines and final chances. That speech in Glengarry Glen Ross filled me with existential terror when I was a pre-teen. There's nothing quite like feeling those metaphorical jaws of brutal obsolescence for the first time and I think it's something that everyone should experience before they become an adult.

It's fair to say that Mr. 'Prospects Are Always Open and Equal!' is way overdue for a feel like that. Unfortunately, if the Father Call didn't make a dent in Chris's psyche then that's not going to do the trick either. Poor, stupid bastard.

It's more just one of the things he stews on, like his usual "sonic sez"-esque lessons he posts once in awhile. Think his hatred for the word "naive", just on a lower scale.

Oh, he's particularly worried about his future. He's stated explicitly a few times that he needs to find a Barb-replacement because his "mother is Not going to be around forever".

Maybe he's frequenting dating sites again. This sounds like the kind of thing that would come up in one of their questionnaires, or maybe he got a response from another fake sweetheart question who posed this question to him. (I'm basing this on his tone, which sounds a tad defensive.)
