Just got old Xbox 360 with mirrors edge, first console I've had in a decade

Anyone recommend some good games? I like one player adventure games and anything fun and stylish.

Got it on impulse, went to the store and .I had to do was exactly...watch the shelf uh, shelf..an—and risten to what price says at the end of it…and writin' it down for a whole week. And then, I had to pay it in, and I had to be drawn out of a hat, and ah just won! Ah just won!
 
Thanks can I get the version with parapa the rappa in it tho?

The 360 can be a good budget gaming machine, stick with PS3 for its media capabilities.
 
Alright- some actual game suggestions:
  • Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and 4 (Revelations felt long in the tooth for me, 3 is rubbish, and Rogue is okay if you like leftovers of AC4)
  • Batman: Arkham Asylum, & Arkham City (I'm sure there is a two-pack for it somewhere)
  • Binary Domain
  • Bioshock (2 and Infinite are cool too, but the first is a must-play)
  • The Darkness (Excellent and vastly underrated game)
  • Deadly Premonition
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Dishonored
  • Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (don't get the vanilla version, as the expanded version fixes so much of the first one's faults)
  • Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (Skyrim is the usual go-to for this generation, but I think Oblivion has a bit more variety and feels more adventurish for it. Still, you may need to play this on the PC if you can't handle dated graphics)
  • Enslaved
  • Fallout: New Vegas (it's an RPG, but lots of adventuring to be had)
  • Just Cause 2
  • Prey
  • The Saboteur (Great game, killed off before its prime by EA)
  • Spec Ops: The Line (it's a third person shooter, but it is one hell of a ride)
  • Vanquish

The only games I got on a 360 when I won one for free were every Halo, every Gears of War, Crackdown, Rez HD, Fable 2, Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark and I Made a Game With Zombies In It but a lot of those were made redundant with the Xbox One rereleases with better performance.

I don't know what it's like now but when I got my 360 there were so many $2 or $4 actually good 360 games at gamestop but this was at like the peak of people trading in their entire 360 collection to try to get money for a new Xbox One with no games.
 
  • Red Dead Redemption is a damn good game. Probably the best GTA styled open-world game I've ever played.
  • Bayonetta is probably the best action game in recent memory, and afaik the 360 port is the most stable version of the game.
  • Asura's Wrath is a fun watch, though it's not really much of a game as much as it an interactive anime.
  • The Saints Row series (from the second game on) is basically GTA, but retarded. It's fun, and the third/fourth games have a pretty fun.
  • The Witcher 2 has a solid port, and it's decently standalone from the first game.
  • Dark Souls. Git gud, scrub.
  • Deathsmiles is a good bullet hell game. Pretty sure it's pretty cheap now too, so if vertical shoot 'em ups is your thing, it's worth a look.
  • N3: Ninety-Nine Nights is a fun button masher.
  • Brutal Legend is probably my favorite Double Fine game, and oozes enough charm to make up for so-so mechanics. Though its single-player campaign is basically a tutorial for the long-dead online campaign.

  • Asura's Wrath is half a game if you don't buy like $30 worth of dlc and there's no disc version with everything on it so don't even bother.

Yeah it's an outlier compared to most of Cave's shooters which are usually vertical.
 
Thanks for the lists everyone. Looks like theres more good games than I thought. Right now just grabbing anything cool I see in second hand shelves.

Every game listed is at least getting googled to see if I like it. Now got force unleashed , baynetta ,BioShock infinite and nearly got dishonored and bullet storm
