Now, a Dog may be a Dog. But a Fox is not a Dog. Nor is a Cat a Dog. Unless, of course, that it is a Cat-Dog. A Bird is not a Dog. A Mouse is not a Dog. A Fish is certainly not a Dog. But what would you call a Dog? Be precise. Is a Fox a Dog? No. Is a Cat a Dog? Maybe, if it is a Cat-Dog. Is a Bird a Dog? No. Is a Mouse a Dog? No. Is a Fish a Dog? No. Is a Dog a Dog? Maybe. But what is a Dog, and what would you call it. You can't call it a Fox, it's not a Dog. You can't call it a Cat, unless it's a Cat-Dog. You can't call it a Bird, it's not a Dog. You can't call it a Mouse, it's not a Dog. You can't call it a Fish, it's not a Dog. So just what, exactly, would you call a Dog? Would you call it a Fox? Of course not, a Fox is not a Dog. Would you call it a Cat? Only if it is a Cat-Dog. Would you call it a Bird? Of course not, a Bird is not a Dog. Would you call it a Mouse? Of course not, a Mouse is not a Dog. Would you call it a Fish? Of course not, a Fish is not a Dog. If you were all alone in this world, and you saw a Dog and not a Fox, nor a Cat - unless it was a Cat-Dog, not a Bird, not a Mouse, not a Fish. A Dog. And potentially a Cat-Dog. What would you call a Dog?
I would greatly appreciate any replies to be brief and cogent, as I am up in years and my mind tends to wander.
