So I guess she didn’t trust Obama and wanted to wait until Hillary became president because she thought Hillary would pick someone better than Obama would. But now Trump will get to pick the judge because he’s the president. She thought she could live until Trump loses the election in 2020. But I’m pretty sure Donald Trump will win 2020 anyway. And there’s no way Ruth could have lived till 2024, she was too sick.

I just read the actual words for the first time, and it only took the 20th time I saw them. She didn't even say, don't replace me until after the election. She said don't let Trump replace me, period, even if he wins. Don't let the seat I occupied be filled by the current president, ever.

Honestly, for all of them except Romney, I think they were likely bluffing about not voting. It's one thing when it's a hypothetical, it's another when it's staring you down. Mitch, Ted, and Lindsey leading the charge are likely to carry enough clout with them to twist the arms of any fence leaners within the party. Assuming maximum cuckoldry from Romney where he actually votes no rather than "present", they would still need 5 more republican senators to vote "present" to fuck it up.

While I would love to have any nominee so far to the right that it gives the chair Ginsburg used to sit in whiplash, from a practical standpoint, Trump should pick whoever is most likely to be slammed through quickly, with minimal distractions. I can guarantee the dems will waste at least a month grilling her about faggots and troons alone.

Supreme Court Justices are not replaced. They are appointed. Presidents are not installed. They are elected.

Her use of language betrays her side’s intentions.

They'll bark regardless. Unless they appoint Saint Nigger or AOC the DNC will waste as long as they can.
I'd prefer we turn Ginsburger's seat blood red rather than a pale red that may be loyal to Trump but risk having a change of heart once he leaves.
The DNC are openly boasting how they plan to turn the US into one-party rule the first chance they get; you better make it as hard as possible for them to achieve it.

If you're asking why her death is such a big deal, it's because Ruth declined to retire under Obama because Hillary would be crowned in 2016 and she would be able to retire under the first woman president of the United States, as if that would make any difference in anything whatsoever.

As we all know, Orange Man ruined Hillary's coronation and became president instead. This posed a huge problem for Ruth, because now she couldn't retire or her replacement would be a conservative judge. The only option she had was to live until a Dem president was elected again and then she could retire.

Because of her being the only thing preventing Trump from appointing someone, the left basically deified RBG in the last two years despite nobody knowing about her before that. So the right wanted her to die so Trump could appoint a conservative Justice, and the left wanted her to live until Biden was elected so they could appoint a liberal Justice in her place. That's why her death is so politicized. It's not about her, it's about the Supreme Court.

tl;dr: Ruth refused to retire under Obama, accidentally handed Trump a Supreme Court seat because she was old and couldn't outlive his term.

All she had to do is survive 2 more weeks, and Trump wouldn't have been able to replace her AND it would have amplified the left to the point that it would have seriously caused issues with the election. Instead, he's getting his 3rd SCOTUS pick, the SCOTUS will be constitutionalist / conservative for 20 years, and it'll fire up the right and deflate the left.

But then again, as I've mentioned time and time again: Leftists really do like jumping the gun.
