UN Justin Trudeau accused of groping reporter in 2000 - And absolutely nobody on the planet was even slightly shocked

(sorry for the sauce but breitbart is the only one on the story right now other than tweeters)

In a recently resurfaced editorial, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau appears to apologize for “inappropriately handling” a young journalist nearly 18 years ago.

According to the Creston Valley Advance, Trudeau told the young woman: “I’m sorry. If I had known you were reporting for a national paper, I would never have been so forward.”

The editorial, largely dismissive of the apology, chides Trudeau over what the author perceives as a lack of self-awareness as the son of former prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

“houldn’t the son of a former prime minister be aware of the rights and wrongs that go along with public socializing?” the editorial asks.

“Didn’t he learn through his vast experiences in public life, that groping a strange young woman isn’t in the handbook of proper etiquette, regardless of who she is, what her business is or where they are?”

Trudeau, a champion of the #MeToo movement, penned an essay in 2017 urging parents to raise their boys as feminists.

“[O]ur sons have the power and the responsibility to change our culture of sexism,” Trudeau wrote, adding, “Our sons have the power and the responsibility to change our culture of sexism.”

The 43-year-old leader unveiled a federal “gender equity” budget in February to reduce the pay gap between men and women.

Amid tense negotiations with the U.S. on NAFTA and tariffs, Trudeau plans to make gender equality a “top priority” at the G7 leaders’ summit in Quebec this week.

Basically journos going through old canadian newspapers found an interesting lil article

TLDR cancuck prime groped a female reporter and then made a halfassed apology back in 2000 which went completely under the radar....until today.

Thus far I have only been able to find a breitbart article on this, but given the journo who discovered it works for the TorontoSun im guessing a slew more will be coming in the next few days.

(And yes....do try to hold you absolute shock that another high profile performatively woke male feminist has been outed as a sex predator)

And #metoo is finally catching up to Bill Clinton too. Just goes to show that people in power will abuse that power and nobody (left or right) is exempt from that.

Glad to see the right people getting accused, though. That fucking cuck.

It always cracks me the fuck up whenever these so called feminists get caught trying to cop a feel with a woman hahahaha
Any guy who calls himself a 'male feminists' is full of shit. They're the one most likely to try to rape somebody.

What’s your plan to make the summit memorable?

One of the main points we’re putting forward is understanding that gender equality and including women in our success is not just a moral argument, it’s very much an economic argument. We’ve put together a gender advisory council, put together extraordinary leaders from around the world who have been at every ministerial meeting, who are part of every ministerial meeting, who are part of every element of decision around what the G-7 is doing to make sure that we’re thinking about including women and the impact on women of everything we do.
>When you get to boost about your support for gender equality in an interview but then you find out that the groping accusations you desperately wanted to forget about have re-surfaced
:story:

No what I am TELLING you is he is a fucking Fraud in every sense of the word, hell if anything he doesnt need to be that kind of deceitful, he has others to take the blame for him for doing so with the cast off of "Consultants".
It's the reason why I said I wouldn't count any chickens before they hatched in a previous post. Like with the other serial perverts I listed, a lot of them took efforts to cover their tracks like with hush money, armies of lawyers or more coercive measures to keep the victims quiet and anyone else from looking too deep into things. How the hell else have most of these guys been getting away with doing this for at least two decades up until recently?

The worst thing about this is that as big of a limp-wristed little sissy as Trudeau seems to be, it is incredibly rare that these types are stuck with only one instance of these incidents. Only time will tell if any more comes of this

Reactions: Dysnomia and Draza
Ya know...one day it will happen to Patton Oswald. Its fucking inevitable since hes easily as much a woke male feminist as the likes of Trudeau and Devin Faraci.

And when it does I will be the first to spam it here and cackle with you niggers about how perfect everything is

He went off on James Rolfe for simply not being interested in the new Ghostbusters movie even though in the video James never once mentioned it was due to the female cast. He even said that had absolutely nothing to do with it. He just felt that classics like Ghostbusters shouldn't be remade. But like anyone else with valid criticisms it was hailed as patriarchal misogyny.

I'm not surprised that everyone's favorite Canadian was accused to not being able to keep his hands to himself. Male feminists are always hypocrites in some fashion. And some are downright dangerous predators and abusers. I wonder if he's got any more skeletons in his closet.

I always knew him being a “feminist ally” would be too good to be true.

This is just me being me, but people can do wrong things in the past and change their attitudes or behaviors after the fact. I don't really take a lot of "oh they did *THIS* 10-20 years ago!" as definitive proof that someone is a liar or a hypocrite. I certainly don't hold the same views or act the same way I did even 5 years ago. It'd have to be very recently or something done or said after they've established themselves as someone with a certain point of view for me to say "yeah, they're full of shit".

Justin Trudeau doesn't hold that view.

He also said politicians were responsible for their actions, no matter how long ago.

"There is no context in which someone doesn't have responsibility for things they've done in the past," he told CBC News.
